Geoffrey's Diamonds & Goldsmith — Attraction in San Carlos

This is a long awaiting review. I usually do not write reviews, but couldn't stop myself as Geoffrey's deserve it. I recently decided to treat myself with a Wedding Ring set. I come from a background where wearing a ring is not mandatory after you are engaged or married. But I always wanted one. I did my homework and researched a lot to know what kind of diamond I want, you know the 4 C's (Color, Clarity, Cut and of course Carat). I visited top rated stores like Shane Company, Jared, Tiffany's, they all were nice but no where I got the feeling of homeliness. Then I went to Geoffrey's in San Carlos. I was helped by the most wonderful person, Sonny. She is knowledgeable, kind and very patient. While I was there I saw how customers were greeted by the employees. they knew each customers names and what they were there for and greeted them by there first name. It was such a warm feeling to be treated as one of them rather than just a random customer. And then there is Nikko, he is a gem. he is honest, trustworthy and by far the most knowledgable person. I am a very picky, analytical, likes to weigh on my options and takes a long time to make decisions.I visited Geoffrey's a couple of time on weekdays when there is less rush and must have spent couple of hours each time. But both Nikko was very patient, he worked with me to find the exact diamond I was looking for or even better than what I had found on James Allen and matched the price. I wanted a particular design for my ring and he had it done for me oversees in this pandemic and made sure I have the ring for my Anniversary and I couldn't be more happier when I saw it. It was exactly how I had imagined. My wedding band was a little delayed but again it was worth the wait. I am so happy I took the decision to travel all the way to San Carlos (it is quite a drive for me, but hey it not something you buy every day, especially if you want it to be perfect) and I had the opportunity to meet Nikko and Sonny. Thank you for listening patiently to my specifications and meeting my demands, for now I have a ring I can cherish everyday. Oh, and they clean your ring, check and replace for loose diamonds on the side of your rings if any for free- unlimited times and they will give you appraisal for insurance purposes. UPDATE! Nov. 4, 2023: Best jewelry business, ever! Upon entering, staff is all smiles & so welcoming. Antonio is awesome & so very kind. I was worried about my loose diamond being tightened, & he reassured me it could be repaired, and completed within the hour. Meanwhile, we picked up my husband’s repairs & the 14K gold clasp replacement was lovely. Antonio called us 30 mins later letting us know my ring was ready. It was absolutely beautiful & he even offered to clean my other rings. Gorgeous & so excited to be wearing my wedding rings, again. Caroline was so very nice, too, and helped w/our transaction, too. I love how family-like, friendly, comfortable and valued Antonio & Caroline made my husband and I feel. We will be returning, for sure. Thank you for such a great experience! Sunny helped my husband & me w/a few repairs we needed, and she was an absolute joy. She was very patient, personable, caring, detailed, & thorough. Sunny explained what the repairs entailed & the costs involved to help us decide the best way to handle our situation. Sunny also consulted w/a very kind, engaging co-worker who was more than happy to stop working to help us. I wish I knew her name b/c she also made us feel very valued & welcomed. And, a third co-worker came out of her office to help another customer & took the time to smile at us. Looking forward to returning b/c it was such a fun, relaxing, & pleasant experience. Jillian at Geoffrey’s is the absolute best! If you are shopping for diamonds or jewelry, don’t waste your time anywhere else… GO TO JILLIAN! I started looking for an engagement ring and knew NOTHING about diamonds or jewelry. After going to about 15 shops and talking to different people, I landed at Geoffrey’s with Jillian. She took the time to teach me everything I needed to know to about a diamond purchase. She supported me through the full design and purchase process. She searched long and hard and found me the perfect diamond then sold it to me for a better price than other shops were trying to charge for a lower quality diamond. She also gave me a killer deal on the custom band. My fiancé fell to the floor crying when she saw it. I could not have asked for a more enjoyable or proper process. Since then, I have purchased diamond earrings from her, my fiancé got my custom wedding band, and I just bought my fiancé’s wedding band from Jillian today. They were having a 40% off holiday sale so Jillian brought us in and had some of the most impressive deals and options ready. We will be customers for life! In addition to knowing her stuff, she is extremely friendly, easy to work with, understanding, and patient. After working with her a few times, she feels like a close friend. She is also dripping in sparkles and diamonds which is extremely fun. You can tell she knows her stuff and lives, eats, and breathes diamonds and jewelry.
