I recently had the pleasure of visiting Dewey's TV & Home Appliances, and let me tell you, it was an experience like no other! From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat.
First things first, I had the pleasure of meeting Manfred, the quirkiest representative I've ever encountered in any store. Picture this: I asked him about refrigerators, and instead of giving me the usual spiel, he started reciting a poem about the joys of cold storage. It was as if he'd been rehearsing fridge-themed poetry his whole life! I couldn't stop laughing, and I think he appreciated my enthusiasm for his unique approach.
Manfred guided me through their refrigerator selection, describing each model with an enthusiasm that would make a stand-up comedian jealous. He even acted out the sound of ice being dispensed like a seasoned actor. I must say, I learned more about fridges in that half-hour than I have in my entire life!
The best part? Manfred didn't just sell me a fridge; he sold me an experience. When I finally made my choice, he insisted on throwing in a rubber chicken-shaped ice cube tray as a bonus. Who does that? Manfred, that's who!
As for the refrigerator itself, it's been chilling like a champ, and I can't help but laugh every time I use those rubber chicken ice cubes. I have the coolest freezer in town, thanks to Manfred and Dewey's.
If you're in the market for appliances and a good laugh, head on over to Dewey's TV & Home Appliances and ask for Manfred. He's a one-of-a-kind representative, and your fridge-shopping experience will never be the same again. Five stars, two thumbs up, and a rubber chicken-shaped ice cube...
Read moreWhen our 23-year old gas cooktop began to fail, my wife and I needed to shop for a replacement. Ordinarily we would first check the big box stores, but Deweyâs Appliances in San Clemente was close by and we thought it would offer a wider selection and more choices. It did, as well as excellent recommendations from store salesmen Mannie and Scott. We learned that our old cooktop had a shallow base and that some cutting of our countertop might be necessary for installation of a replacement, and they were very helpful with advice on which brands, sizes and features best met our needs. We decided on an upscale European model that met our design requirements and we made our payment, but Scott found a better buy for us the next day in a domestic model at half the price. We cancelled the original order, Scott ordered its replacement, and refunded us the difference. When we found the same model on sale at Home Depot for less, Scott matched their price and refunded us the difference. We were also impressed with the gentleman whom, as an independent contractor, they use to install the cooktop, and we trust his judgement and experience with these appliances. We should have our new cooktop within a week (and weâll no longer need to use matches to light our...
Read moreIâve purchased most of my appliances for a work project from Deweyâs but needed help with a home project. Manny is my go to person at Deweyâs. Heâs always responsive, professional and goes the extra mile to find you what you need. With the supply chain the way it is these days it is nice to have someone who can recommend substitutions that are available. We bought the last of a Kitchenaid oven we needed and weâre able to schedule delivery the very next week. Victor and David the installers showed up right on time and went to work. There was an installation issue but Victor who has been installing for Deweys for over 20 years made a modification and was able to install the oven as planned.I donât believe I would have gotten this kind of service from an installer with one of the big chains. I was so relieved as Thanksgiving was around the corner and I needed t his second oven. He saved the day. I love supporting local businesses and itâs extra nice when that business offers excellent...
