I am a Tour Operator from Minneapolis. I had a high school band on tour in San Diego. They wanted to do a dinner cruise. Rather than choose one of the large boats that are public, I thought the kids and parents would enjoy being by themselves, doing some sailing, hanging out with their friends in a comfortable environment and I was absolutely right. Aolani provides multiple catering options for any price range. The food was good.

The staff went above and beyond to make us feel special. The booking process was easy. Edwin, the owner, was very responsive to my inquiries and even though he wasn't going on the cruise with us, he welcomed the group and showed us to the slip. He was receptive to any and all of our needs.

We had 45 people and were very comfortable on the catamaran. The kids hung off the front, some hung inside. Some laid on the netting in comfortable chairs. There was plenty of room for everyone. If not for Coast Guard regulations, they easily could have had another 20 people on board.

The harbor itself is really cool too. You get to sail past many, many US Naval vessels. The deals were running around in their Zodiacs and even buzzed us one time. The Captain was kind enough to slow down after that to let the waives subside.

You can hook into their sound system and play whatever kind of music you want. They have blankets for those that don't understand it gets a little colder especially at night on the water.

Having coordinated a number of these kind of events, I would put this one at the top of the list and will absolutely do it again for my next group tour of San Diego. I cannot think of anything I...

I recently had the pleasure of joining the Aolani for their Sunset Sail, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience! From the moment I stepped on board to the final moments of the sail, everything was simply perfect.

The crew was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure everyone felt comfortable and safe throughout the entire journey. The catamaran itself was well-maintained, clean, and spacious, providing ample room for all guests to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views.

A special mention goes to Edwin, Managing Partner at Aolani and the Operations Manager, Cameron, who were an absolute delight. Their passion for San Diego, thoughtful coordination and dedication to ensuring a remarkable experience for every guest shone through. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone had an enjoyable time.

Cameron and the crew coordinated delicious refreshments and snacks, adding to the overall enjoyment of the sail.
