This Sky Club was genuinely awesome. I only had 30 minutes to board my plane and needed hot coffee and a quick snacky boi before I begin my 20 hour journey back home. The perks of having access to clubs like these that even when it's "rush hour," you can still get in, grab something to hold you over, and even have enough time to sit to eat before sprinting faster than Usain Bolt to your departing air terminal. Speed and convinience doesn't mean that quality or quantity is sacrificed either. Everything they offered was absolutely delicious and settled just right in my stomach and man let me tell you. The waffles they offered amongst other various food products was like nothing else that has touched my taste buds until now. I don't intend to be a little dark, but if those waffles were the last thing to grace my little buds on this planet, I would be okay with that and have no regrets. Did I mention there was a bar too? Well that's right, there is one and they serve drinks as soon as they open, WILD. If I was not traveling post surgery, I would have definitely paired those waffles with the divine juices offered at this fine establishment cause who hasn't been to a Waffle House or IHOP in the early morning hours after going on a day drinking, bar hopping binge the day before? Of course though, this place is much more refined than the streets lined with bars and clubs in Tokyo and Osaka. You must maintain the image of a lady, gentlemen, or proper non-binary adult and so you must consume responsibly and practice modesty. Lastly, this particular establishment was well maintained and had sanitizer stations distrubeted throughout the spaces. The employees were were absolutely polite, respectful, helpful. I would say service was completely professional but they were also genuine and not forced cause "it's their job." All-in-all, I recommend this place if you have time to stop by. I can not say your experience will be as good as mine was (Oct 7, 2022 @0630), but today was hands down...
Read moreWe just encountered the nastiest Delta employee, Lorena at the Delta lounge in San Diego airport. My husband was signing us in (because he’s a member) so we could change my baby’s diaper. My baby had been en route for hours. She said I couldn’t come in because I wasn’t a sky miles member. So, my husband went in alone and left me at the front because the baby was fussy. She then proceeded to ridicule me and laugh with her colleague about rice krispy treats and pound cake while I was mixing baby formula in the front as my husband tried to frantically change the baby. I have photos of me mixing formula at the front, on the floor, spilling powder and milk everywhere because she didn’t even offer to help me. My husband had credits for Delta and she never said we could use them to sign me in- she just continued to laugh and joke around with her colleague when I struggled to make a bottle for my 11 month old baby. Please do better for moms and for general customer service, Delta. Her name was Lorena. I hope some photos help you understand how there was complete lack of empathy in her level of service. She could probably use some coaching on how to be a better human. She was working Sat, July 29. Lorena probably isn’t a mom, but she needs to learn some empathy. We needed five minutes to clean a baby and make him milk. This is so disappointing and I will make sure to post the photos on social media. This is unfortunate for the brand since we...
Read moreI recently booked a first class round trip ticket to Las Vegas. When I got to the Sky Club I was told that since I was on a domestic flight and was not using an American Express card that I couldn't enter. I've used the Sky Club numerous times without any problem and yes they were on international flights but this was bizarre. There was a couple with two young children in front of me they were told the same thing that because every one of them did not have an American Express card they couldn't enter. When I got to Las Vegas I called Delta and they were not happy. I was instructed to file a complaint with Delta which I did and I'm looking at the terms and conditions of using the Sky Club it says nothing about having to use an American Express card and it does stipulate that on domestic flights you do get to use the club. This is far from over...
