Brewery X — Restaurant in San Diego

We walked into Brewy X and were seated right away big shoutout to the host (didn’t catch his name, but he was a light-skinned guy with a curled hair . Super helpful and welcoming.

We were sat all the way in the back by the double doors. It took about 10 minutes before we got service. Servers kept walking by, and it seemed a little confusing who was supposed to take our table. Eventually, someone helped us that part definitely needs tightening up.

I had the Double X Cheeseburger with fries it was hitting the spot! Juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. I also ordered the chicken wings, and let me tell you spicy in the best way. If you like heat, these wings are a win!

My son had the chicken tenders solid portion, but here’s the kicker no kids menu. That was surprising. If anyone from Brewy X reads this, please consider adding one.

My wife had the nachos, and she didn’t really like them. They aren’t like nachos you think they come rolled.

One note they don’t serve Coke products, but Pepsi did the trick.

Recently ate dinner here with some family that was staying at the hotel. The food was fantastic. The Brussel sprouts are a must in my opinion. The Pretzel was also amazing great mustard and cooked to perfection. We also had the veggie pizza shared with some at our table. I had the BBQ burger which is my go to at places like this if it is on the menu, it was great! My son loved the Taquito Nachos cool concept and flavor as well. I enjoyed a West Coast Style IPA and we as a family watched some NCAA basketball, specifically the SDSU Women team which was great they could accommodate that game due to the amount of TV's they have. The view is also great overlooking the docks. Typically I don't care for food from a hotel however they definitely made me rethink eating at a hotel, as many items that came out at other tables also looked delicious as well. My wife and I came here on the first day of our honeymoon, hoping for something a bit special, especially since it’s attached to the Sheraton Resort. Unfortunately, it was a letdown.

We were seated and then left waiting for 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich, which was borderline inedible; it tasted like old fryer oil and had zero flavour. My wife had the fish and chips, which were fine, but nowhere near worth the price.

To be fair, the beer was pretty good, and our server was kind and kept our waters topped up, but he seemed frazzled, which was odd because it really wasn’t that busy. It just felt disorganised all around.
