Sebastian is an absolute professional and very knowledgeable about everything jewelry related. He was very accommodating when discussing meeting times and always made sure to let me know that my business and my time were very important to him. When discussing budget, he was extremely helpful in discussing options and making sure that my needs would be met or exceeded but my budget would not be compromised. He was also able to be flexible and work with me on price, which is something that was much appreciated. Another important part of his business is that he has GIA credentials and is able to provide certificates and documentation that certify his materials. I received a GIA certificate of the diamond that I purchased as well as appraisals of both the loose diamond and the ring. Sebastian is willing to go above and beyond to give the best possible experience in buying an engagement ring, and I highly endorse his means and methods.

The back-story: My girlfriend fell in love with a ring at a retail store when I took her looking to get an idea of what she would like. I wanted to get an idea of ring styles she preferred and to give her the experience of trying them on. While my girlfriend had fun, I personally did not have a good experience at most of these retail stores, as I always felt pressured to buy immediately (even when I told them that I would not purchase anything on the same day while she was there, as I wanted what she got to be a surprise) and felt that I was being brushed off by the staff when I told them my budget. I have a basic understanding of the industry and know that there is a large amount of markup at major retail stores, and had no intention of buying from there. I took a bunch of pictures of the ring that she loved, and went about searching for a smaller business to go about making my purchase. After doing some research of jewelry stores in the area, I ended up setting up a meeting with Sebastian. Though he did not have the exact type of ring that I was looking for, he was able to help me create the exact ring that she wanted by custom making it for me. I was able to show him the pictures, and he assured me that his in-house manufacturer could custom make it. He was also very good at helping me find a diamond that met the specifications that I had laid out, and got me something at a reasonable price that exceeded my expectations. He got a wax mold from his manufacturer of the ring we designed based on the original, and we were able to examine it and make tweaks before the OK was given to have it cast. As a young couple with no knowledge/experience with jewelry, he not only gave us the exact ring we wanted but was able to also educate us and provide EXPERT advice. It was easy to book a consultation online and he’s extremely flexible with his hours to ensure your experience is flawless. He was patient, clear with his questions, personable, and made sure we knew exactly what we wanted and didn’t try hide anything or use any sneaky tactics just to secure the sale. We gave him a timeline of when we needed the rings and he chose a specific date and sure enough they were ready on that exact date. Efficiency is his strong point and it’s a beautiful thing when all the moving parts in his operation are all in house! It is entirely dependent on his timeline not anybody else’s which gave us a boost of confidence in choosing him. He’s friendly, conversational, professional, courteous/polite, has a passion for his craft, and understands that this is one of the most important times in his client’s life and he’s able to contribute a vital part in it. Normally I don't do reviews, but when someone goes above and beyond they deserve recognition. I picked out my dream wedding ring solitaire mounting from this jewelers collection. You literally can not buy it anywhere else without a diamond already mounted in it, but I found it here and... I bet if he didn't have it he would have found it for me. One problem, it needed to be tweaked in order for my diamond that I already had to fit. He let me know they do all their own jewelry work and he could make it happen for me. I was skeptical to say the least as I am a perfectionist when it comes to something like this. I was worried about compromising the look of the high quality designer mount. This jeweler assured me he could make the adjustments and the ring would look exactly the same...my thoughts...no way...all the fine details that make this ring's quality will be lost. It's really hard to find someone that knows anything about higher end jewelry unless they work for that specific high end jewelry company. Well boy was I wrong! He got the dimensions for my diamond, reconstructed the ring and it is PERFECT!!!! He updated me along the way and even finished it early to surprise me!! The customer service I received was like no other. He was so patient with my doubts and questions. Little did I know he was a genius with high end designer jewelry reconstruction. I actually feel silly now questioning him like he was an amateur and showing him pictures of something he was more familiar with than me. Customer service and skills like this do not exist anymore.
