We were traveling to Anaheim from San Diego, and my 4yo son really wanted vermicelli noodles with “nuoc mam”. My husband did a quick google search and found this new place and decided to give it a try. I had the vermicelli and grilled chicken bowl and chicken eggrolls; my husband had the pho tai; and my toddler had the vermicelli noodles with fried tofu (and his nuoc mam).
Wow! Being a very picky Vietnamese foodie, I was super impressed by this place! The food was quick, everything was delicious, and we left with full bellies.
Normally, the only tasty eggrolls for me are the traditional pork ones that my mom used to make for us when we were growing up. However, their chicken eggrolls were absolutely scrumptious! I was able to snatch a few fried tofu from my hangry toddler, and they were perfectly crispy on the outside, and hot and soft on the inside, just perfect little bites. My husband loves pho tai, and he finished his bowl in record time. My chicken vermicelli bowl was also great!
If you’re looking for a new Vietnamese place to try, definitely give these folks a visit. You won’t regret it, and your bellies will thank you!
Also, the food was so yummy that we forgot to take picture before it was...

The bowl they served pho in kept the broth nice and hot for the duration of the meal, which is a plus. However, with it being so hot, I guess it's hard for the server to deliver the bowl without rushing to place it on the table. The result? Hot broth spilled on the table and onto my partner without an apology. The server saw it but just rushed away. Pho broth was a tad sweet with a hint of sourness, which was a little odd. The brisket was too tough and chewy. I did like the individual garnishes and condiments provided. No sate, so don't ask. They have the thicker chili paste and Sriracha available, though.
We sat close to the kitchen window and were able to hear everything between the kitchen and FOH staff. The man in the kitchen was loud and sounded like he was yelling at the staff, but unfortunately, it's how the older Asian generation speaks. They sound as though they're yelling with a raised voice, but no. However, it made me feel bad for the servers because listening to that all day can make you feel some sort of way.
Overall, it was ok. Not a place I'd have on my go-to list but a place I can finally check off my...
Read moreI was very excited to try this place. My friend son and I were very disappointed in the food. The worst was I ordered one of there special drinks I waited a long time. The place was empty, now I know why. I start watching one of the servers pick in a box of herbs with no gloves and hair hanging over the box I asked if my drink was coming and the server said she is making it. Since I observed her wearing no gloves and her unprofessional unsanitary etequite. I said I will cancel the drink. The food was awful. We had the chicken dish. I had said I had a great chicken dish at another Vietnamese restaurant. The chicken did not taste or look fresh right and it was thigh meat pounded down. The kids meal orange chicken was more batter then chicken over cooked like it was not fresh. The service was 3 young adults that do not have customer service skills or communication skills. I do not...
