This is a gem of a 3-par course. As of this review, the course is in excellent shape! The greens have just the right consistency of sod/sand. The shots hold well on the greens, and the putts roll smoothly. The course, itself, it plush green and the rough a bit high-which is good. The traps have enough sand and have been raked - something you don't see much anymore. The greens-keeper certainly knows how to maintain a golf course and it shows! Nothing is out of place or neglected!
There are nice thoughtful touches too. Next to the shop is a practice area, and a bucket of balls are reasonably priced. There is also a putting green which is consistent with the speed of the greens on the course (something a lot of courses don't always have). The putting green hole markers are also quite nice. They are high enough so that you don't even need to bend over to lift the top to get the ball out of the hole (as I mentioned, attention to every detail). The tee boxes consist of turf, but I find that to be perfect for 3-par courses. They have also labeled each hole with a positive character trait. Oh yeah, and the scorecard should be a model for all golf cards. All of the info is on the card and the front and back nine are folded so that it falls right next to the player's names!
It's generally a very positive place to play. People are friendly and the pace of play is very relaxed. It's not unusual to see moms and/or dads walking around (or playing) with their kids as their kids play the course. I love it, particularly since this is a very kid-friendly place to learn and play.

Read morei was late and lost (on foot) for a very important event, my c.m. hadn't known to inform me of the events location being tucked away in the park parking lot so I circled the entire Colina park border in a hot day. Colina Park Golf center was kind enough to allow an important call to my c. m. to get the info I didn't have and to provide cold water.
The Golf Pro office had no obligation, need or interest in helping just any non-customer as no business is ever obligated to provide service HOWEVER the Golf Pro office staff and their owner/operator (I think) DIS HELP ME and I will be exceptionally grateful and quick to say the level of awareness, tact and courtesy given to this "Lost In the Sauce Guy with Two thumbs" 👉👈 is a big fan and (eventually) a great 3 - 5 -9 ... 18 hole player with this level of service and professional attention displayed that day (and many other days) for...
