Try out this place the neighborhood cafe. It's bomb and cheaper than most place. A huge plate of food is about 7-8 buck and I got a vietnamese coffee with boba for 4 buck. This place is awesome and nice workers who brought food to me which I don't see ever. It's a collab with UPAC that's why they're awesome. Enjoy! You won't regret. Sorry no pic of the vietnamese ice coffee, I drank it all in like 5 minutes. Lol 20 buck for two days worth of food. Heck yes!
Update: dropped 2 stars. Everytime I come they always have something up. Like today, no boba. It's 330pm. Last time closed on me. I came at 4pm. Last Last time, no more chicken. I'm giving up on this place and maybe why no customers??
Update 2 12/21/23 Haven't gotten to eat here for over month now. Always closed down or food isn't available 1 hour or 2 hours before closing time. I'm giving up on this place. Dropped to one star. The hypes gone... would be nice if this place can open around 9am and serve everything cuz lunch starts at 11am... this place says close at 5, they really close at 330pm or sometimes 3pm because food runs out....
Read moreI worked with The Neighborhood Cafe, specifically Joe and Chef Eddie, to cater my wedding, and they did an incredible job from start to finish. They created a custom, gluten free menu based on all of our favorite foods and were thoughtful about helping us stay within budget without compromising quality or flavor.
The serving sizes were generous. We had plenty of food left over, and guests were able to go back for seconds and thirds. What really stood out was how thorough they were in the planning process. Joe and Chef Eddie visited the venue ahead of time to anticipate any delivery or setup challenges, and they helped me figure out exactly how many chafing dishes, hot boxes, and other pieces of equipment we would need to keep everything running smoothly.
I couldn’t be happier with the experience. If you’re looking for reliable, professional, and genuinely thoughtful catering, I highly recommend The...
Read moreHands down! My favorite place to come visit. There are a lot of great things about it! Location: In the middle of City Heights and there is a parking lot with LOTS of parking. It's a small space but not too difficult to spot Food: IS DELICIOUS. I get try to different foods from all different cultures. My favorite is the Loco Moco and Thai Chicken Salad, HOWEVER, I almost ALWAYS come here and order the Bev's Shake Price: AMAZING! For the portion size and the types of food I am getting, totally worth it Service: The staff and the serve are amazing and sweet. The amazing thing is that it hires teens from the neighborhood to teach them skills/earn income at the same time.
I love the mission of UPAC and what this little cafe represents. Sometimes, I come and just sit to look at the mural and how it encompasses the values of City Heights is through...
