Manolo Farmers Market — Attraction in San Diego

I used to come to the store when it was Foodland for years, and then the store name changed to Manolo, and there was a full remodeled and they added a food section for hot foods such as tamales, empanadas, etc. They food is good, but the service is NOT. I had to complained to the store manager Leo about a lady cashier Jennifer, who all of the sudden grabbed my basket full of foods, with small drinks in it, and quickly flipped it upside down to dump all the food and drinks off the basket. She didn't care about any of the items that were in the basket. I asked her why she did that, and she replied: "Well, it's not my job to remove the items off the basket." I told her that she could've asked me to remove them. Also, she never even greeted me and she had a lot of attitude. Naturally, I asked for the manager and for her name. The employee was wearing a large nose piercing and wasn't even wearing a uniform. I definitely do not want to go back to this store in a while. I do love the food, but when the service is bad it's difficult to go back. Another issue was that I specifically ordered chicken tamales, and I got the spicy pepper w/ cheese tamales instead. I really like to shop at this store specially with the new ownership. Its super clean and now have a variety of items. The cashiers are very unprofessional. They greet you when they feel like it or you will have to greet them first to get a hello. They are always on their phone and talking to each other. They are bland if thats a thing. Now lets talk about their cakes. Let me start by saying that Ive been a cake decorator for 7 years now and I can tell a new cake from an old cake. Their cakes from the case will be up for more than a week. Same cake, same stains, same pipping, same colors. I can go on and on and on . but then I dont know if the cakes are only for display or for sale. Im hopping they are only for display. But my point is that I wonder how they run things in the back.. How sanitary they are and how they follow the rules with their food. Had a few disappointments from their food. I just hope it...
