The customer service at this hotel was terrible. We asked for a room in the new building, and we were assigned to a room in the corner of the old building that is under construction. The room had gum and toothpaste in the carpet, and the porch was just a green plastic thing rapped around the bushes (anyone could easily break into our hotel room). The construction goes from 9am-5pm and is ridiculously loud, and extremely inconsiderate. I called to see if we could upgrade or change rooms, and "El" the "supervisor" told us we couldn't. She said that you cannot change rooms after an hour of being checked in. So I got the time we checked in and brought it to her (it had only been 15minutes) and she still refused to help us change to a more suitable room. She then claimed all the rooms in the hotel were booked for the night. Needless to say we did not continue our stay here, and we moved to a different hotel where we were treated with respect. I would not recommend staying at this hotel, unless you are older and retired then they might actually consider treating you with respect. As for the younger crowd it does not matter how much money you are willing to spend the customer service will still treat you like you...
Read moreMy room originally smelled like cigarette smoke and the front desk was very helpful. They had maintenance come in and change the AC air filter and it made a huge difference! The room is much better. The location isn't great given that there is a set of train tracks right outside my room. It has definitely had a negative impact on my sleep but also something that the hotel can't control. The AC works better now, but it's still not particularly effective. I get very warm at night and I have it set to the lowest temp possible. If I were traveling with my spouse, I think it would be way too warm for ideal sleep with us both in the room. The cleaning staff also haven't replaced used things like coffee pods and tissues, and they took my bathroom floor mat without replacing it. Front desk has been happy to give me these things but this is slightly less convenient. There is a mini convenience store near the front desk that has NEX type prices instead of hiked prices that you typically see in hotel convenience stores so that's been nice. I don't think I would stay here if not on orders unless it was very cool out and I could get a room that faces the back instead of the train tracks out front, but the...
Read moreLove the front desk crew!!🤗🥰 The rooms are clean with the ability to control room temperature yourself. Could use a few more ice machines. Would like to be able to make reservations 2 or 3 months out at all times not have to wait until the day before at times. That can be problematic to be honest. I understand Active Duty are primary but Retired should be next. Not sure I put that right but tried to keep it kinda short since this is kinda long. However we do enjoy it when we get to stay their. I did notice on my last stay a person making a reservation for himself and his friends. I think that is wrong, each reservation should be made by the person staying at the location. The female at the front desk said ok let's get those reservations in. So they were retired and the reservations were for 10 weeks out more then the allowed time. So some favorite customers get privileges. Since I heard her call him Senior Chief I know his rank. I happen to be a retired Comnander that's why it was strange to me he was able to make 2 reservations and they were for past the allotted period to make them at that time. I was just told 3 weeks out was as far out I could make another reservation. My apologies...
