Good morning San Diego America’s Finest City! Let me tell you…I enjoyed every minute of this eating experience! It is really a cool place and a great concept on service! NOT TO MENTION I MET THE CHEF, Chef Kalynn! Love her 🥰 I’m a dentist in the city and I have family visiting from Chicago for Spring Break. We could not find any Soul Food places I know, nothings opened on Monday, so we Google Soul food restaurants and several popped up saying Opened, but when we would call, nobody and I mean nobody answered except CHEF KALYNN HERSELF! She explained her restaurant and the entrees they offered and told us to come over we would not be disappointed! Actually that was an understatement… We were in a food coma! We drove there asked for her she came out and helped us ordered. Turns out the place has more than 20 restaurants to order from!!! All cultures of food! Loved the whole idea! The food was delicious, eye pleasing, HOT, can’t closed the container, just a lot of food! We ordered the catfish dinner and the whole wing dinner with macaroni and cheese, collard greens, yams, green beans, coleslaw, and fried okra. We also had the peach cobbler and banana pudding outstanding! And would you believe they have Faygo sodas and Better More Chips…Come through now! She’s from Detroit just so you know! And I’m from Mississippi have been in San Diego for over 30 years and I already love this place and Chef Kalynn. Chef also does Eat and Paint Parties! One of parties is on April 15!! You just got to love the entire experience! Girlll I’ll be back! Loved it all ❤️ Thank you so much for all the love you put in it! I’m bringing my daddy who says ain’t nothing good in San Diego to eat! WELL THERE...
Read moreFirst visit here, and didn't know what to expect as I came here with a co-worker to specifically try out this branch of Swagyu Burger. Was pleasantly surprised to find out that this place has a unique way of ordering. You essentially get to choose from 20+ restaurants serving anything from burgers, sushi, Asian fusion, Hawaiian fusion, bowls, etc. and order via a touch screen kiosk. No matter how many venues you order from, it's all on a ticket, and you type in a phone number to get updates on your order. Once your food is ready, you'll get a link sent to your phone to use to electronically open a locker located by the kiosk you order from to pick up your food. It's novel and reminds me of how you order from some restaurants in Japan. As I've only tried ordering from Swagyu, I'll leave my rating as 4-stars.until.i try more food venues here.
One complaint is that it's very difficult to find parking as there is no dedicated parking lot for customers, and you'll have to scour up and down Boston avenue in what is essentially an industrial zone to...
Read moreThis location has numerous options from pizza to Greek and Japanese. I ordered the falafel wrap with fries and side of pita bread. The falafel wrap was decent, but I was somewhat disappointed by due to the lack of flavor and texture of the falafel itself. I’ve had Greek and Lebanese food from other places where the falafel is much better and had a more moist texture to it. However, the pita bread is excellent, and the fries are surprisingly tasty. The fries are thick cut steak like fries that were fried to a little bit crisp exterior and soft in the inside with delightful paprika seasoning.
Cool app interface technology to grab your order but the lack of military discount available was disappointing; there wasn’t an option to add one on the screens.
4/5 experience in terms of food and environment but I can’t comment of service due to the whole transaction being...
