The Only Café in Town—But Honestly, It’s All You Need

If you find yourself wandering the streets, desperately searching for caffeine, carbs, and a cozy place to contemplate life’s choices, look no further—because there is nowhere else to look. This is the only café around. But don’t let that fool you into thinking it’s some sad, last-resort situation. No, no, my friend. This place is actually great.

Let’s start with the food. I ordered a chai scone, and let me tell you, if chai could punch you in the taste buds, this scone would be its knuckle-dusted fist. It doesn’t just hint at chai; it announces itself loudly, like an overenthusiastic friend who just got back from a yoga retreat in India. Spicy, fragrant, and perfect with a cup of whatever you drink to feel sophisticated.

Then there’s the savory mushroom empanada. It’s warm, flaky, and packed with enough umami to make you question why you don’t eat more mushrooms. Are you anti-fungus? Fix that.

Oh, and let’s talk about the açaí bowl—because if you’re in the mood for something refreshing, this is the one. I’m not saying it’s the best açaí bowl in the area because, well, it’s the only one around—but even if it weren’t, it would still be top-tier. No weird experimental toppings, no unnecessary frills—just a classic, perfectly blended, ice-cold, berry-packed bowl of greatness. It’s the kind of açaí bowl that makes you feel like you’ve made a healthy life choice, even if you immediately follow it up with a pastry (which you absolutely should).

Now, the ambiance—imagine the kind of place where you’d be totally comfortable writing your unfinished novel, catching up on emails you’ll never send, or people-watching in a way that’s just on the right side of creepy. It’s that kind of café. The lighting is perfect, the music is just the right volume, and the vibe is chef’s kiss.

But the real highlight? The staff. These people actually seem to enjoy their jobs, which is both refreshing and slightly suspicious. What’s their secret? Free coffee? A workplace cult? I don’t know, but they’re friendly, efficient, and somehow make you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time.

Final verdict: If you need coffee, snacks, and good vibes, this is the spot. And if you don’t need those things, what’s...

Jaunt Coffee Roasters is truly the perfect neighborhood coffee shop and breakfast stop. It’s no surprise that the line stretches long on both weekday and weekend mornings—this spot has built quite a following.

Their coffee selection stands out, offering unique flavors like hazelnut, vanilla, and lavender alongside excellent traditional options like lattes and macchiatos. Coffee enthusiasts will also appreciate their selection of beans and merchandise available for purchase.

The food is another highlight, with a menu featuring croissants, burritos, and, most impressively, empanadas—a rare and delightful find for a breakfast spot in the area. Options like beef, chicken, ham, and cheese are popular, and the empanadas are kept hot and crispy in the oven, ensuring they’re always fresh and satisfying.

The staff here are exceptional, going above and beyond to deliver great service. When I accidentally spilled my drink, they quickly cleaned up and even remade it for me—service like this makes all the difference.

Jaunt also offers creative seasonal drinks throughout the year. The summer Ube Cream Cold Brew is a refreshing treat, while the winter Bunny Kitty Cold Brew, topped with matcha foam and sprinkles, is a fun and festive twist. During the holidays, the store is beautifully decorated with themed lights, Santa’s sleigh, and even a Santa mailbox, adding a warm and cheerful touch to the experience.

The spot has an outside dining area which is dog-friendly. It's quite common to see the cute puppies at the area.

With its excellent coffee, delicious food, and welcoming atmosphere, Jaunt Coffee Roasters is a neighborhood gem that’s worth the...

One of my Goals for 2022 is to visit lot of small business and review them. I am very glad I started with Jaunt Coffee Roasters.

Jaunt Coffee Roasters cute little hidden treasure. Went here based on my wife's suggestions and this place satisfied my coffee craving.

We ordered Cortado and Cappuccino. My Cortado was made with excellent Expresso mixed with equal amount of steamed milk. Milk made it less acidity and full body. My wife had Cappuccino, this was super foamy, with a third of the cup being taken over by foam. I feel basically Cortado + Foam = Cappuccino. Both were very tasty.

This place one of the fewest place where you can still get Ceramic cup option, while most of the coffee places are only doing to-go cups, which I am not big fan. The place is small, with outdoor seating option and few breakfast choices like EMPANADAS and Breakfast Burritos. parking is tight but you could find spots. This place is same complex as Setting sun Sake and Protector Brewery. This place have Wifi and also decaf options. Next time to try nitro cold brew and Lavender Latte.

Would love to be here again soon to meet the baristas and everyone working behind the counter, they all are extremely friendly and helpful

I totally forgot to pick up a coffee when I left downtown today however I was around the area and I asked Google "take me to the nearest coffee shop" of course Starbucks was #1 on the list 😣 I continued to scroll down the list and I discovered Jaunt Coffee Roasters "I got to go!" I said When I arrive I was a little insecure if I was at the right place. Everything's looked like a warehouse the majority of the breweries are around are closed. As I continued to walk across the parking lot I finally found the coffee shop. Inside I found the shop warm and cozy with modern rustic look. Really loved the theme. One thing that caught my eye and made feel at home was empanadas from "Empanadas Kitchen". Empanadas Kitchen is just down the block from my house so when I saw the empanadas I knew I was at the right place and let me tell you when I got my mocha and opened the lid I found freckles chocolate on top of my coffee I smelled it the aroma was amazing. I take my first sip OH PEOPLE! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TO SKIP MCDONALD'S STARBUCKS' AND DRIVE UP TO JAUNT COFFEE! It was a delicious Mocha! I will definitely return even if it's 30 min drive from Downtown 🤣🤣🤣 thank you guys
