One day I was driving to the Costco (off of Morena Blvd) after work for some produce. I circled around the parking lot twice and couldn't find a parking spot... I thought to myself "Guess it wasn't mean to be." Fortunately, I live right up the hill so I told myself I'll try again tomorrow. On my half mile drive home I discovered this cute little hidden gem called The Fruit Stand!! I swear my wheels skidded as I pulled into their parking lot.

They had so many fruits, veggies, nuts, homemade goodies, and more... I am SO glad I didn't get a spot at Costco because this place is so much better for fresh produce! I'm hesitate to boast about my favorite find (because I'm afraid they'll all be gone next time I go) but there's this zip lock baggie of dried & seasoned veggies that is to die for. You can distinctly tell there's green beans, carrots, beets, etc. finely sliced & dried with a simple salty seasoning to make you think you're eating potato chips. I AM HOOKED!

So hooked, I'll be back again today for my dried veggie bags before anybody reads...

Wonderful little fruit and vegetable stand with a great selection of herbs, lentils, dried beans, and tortillas in addition to local fresh fruits and vegetables. The prices are great, and the selection really reflects the fact that a lot of it is picked locally. A whole bag of basil, mint, or tarragon for just a dollar or spring green mix, enough for a salad for two for a dollar.

There was a whole bin of little tangelos that were to small to go to a chain store. These strawberries were so type they were bruising on the basket, there was no way these fragrant beauties could have been shipped anywhere. They smelled so good they filled our car with their scent and we devoured them all after our lunch. They were red all the way through, and super juicy and soft. No bruising other than what our handling inflicted. I was so impressed. Five dollars for a pint of...

This little hidden gem is such a great find! The place might be small, but it’s packed with fresh, high-quality produce—fruits and vegetables that are always in season and taste so much better than what you get at bigger stores. What really sets it apart, though, is the wonderful staff. The people working here are so friendly and knowledgeable, always happy to offer recommendations or share where the produce is sourced from. It feels like a true local spot that cares about its customers. If you're looking for fresh, flavorful produce and a welcoming atmosphere, this is definitely the place to go!

Buy here not at the big shopping center such as...

Fruit is what tethers me to this world. Whenever I travel, I make it a point to seek out local produce, farms, or fruit stands to pick up goods for the journey. The Fruit Stand is an absolute gem for anyone who appreciates top-quality produce. The fruit was incredibly fresh, vibrant, and fairly priced. As a self-appointed fruit sommelier, I can confidently say that the attention to quality and seasonality here rivals that of the finest markets. If you appreciate fruit, this is where you need to shop.

Found this lil spot cause I needed Costco gas lol. Anyways I’m so happy we found this little jewel. Love the fresh produce and delicious salsas they sell here. Also the wood is such a good deal, a whole Wheelbarrow of good wood (pine & eucalyptus) for $25 ! Say less , I’m all about it. The gentleman even offered to put it my car for me which was super helpful considering I injured my back the other week. Customer service was awesome and my husband and I will definitely be returning customers!
