P&P Towing — Attraction in San Francisco

I called on a lazy Sunday around evening time dude picks up the fone started to greet with a positive attitude. I asked him can you give me a price range a PRICE RANGE for a vehicle pickup from Santa Rosa to Redwood city HE said first b4 we start can i ask some questions i said ok anyway the conversation went South fast when he started if the car is not registered. next question who does the vehicle belong to I said both of us friends chucked in money and got a Supra with 6000 miles 2jz engine built from scratch for time trail but i need that vehicel in redwood for tune and i cant drive it there right so just a small price range would be nice for a first time customer!!! As others have mentioned, I was quoted one price over the phone and charged around 4x as much. I had a motorcycle towed from 280North to Harrison/3rd street on the morning of 4/16/19.

To the company: I'm hoping that this was just a mixup through your contractors. In that case I'll be happy to edit this into a positive review if you can work with me to make this right. If not, I've already contacted the San Francisco District Attorney Consumer Protection Unit and plan to move forward with them as a first step.

The review concerns the phone customer service. Awful, disrespectful. I called for a jump start, they told me to wait about 20min for the car to come. After giving my credit card information, they say there’s a $50 cancellation fee (smart...). I call after 35min, the lady says she is checking and, oh coincidence, the driver just called at the same time. First lie, corroborated later. I say “oh, what a coincidence” and she smiles like saying “stupid customers, they believe our default answer all the time”. Finally The driver arrives after 1h5min, which I spent waiting under the rain. Luckily he was good and respectful, but he is a contractor.
