I tried rug tufting with a friend and had such a great experience! The teacher was very kind and attentive and helped everyone create their own masterpiece. The length of the session was perfect for finishing the rug. I would definitely try this again. It was an excellent class for beginners, so you don't need to worry about your level of experience before signing up. The class started with the teacher approving everyone's designs. We then got a sharpie to draw our design on a canvas. After that, the teacher gave a demo of how to use the tufting gun. Every student got to try the tufting gun on a practice canvas before working on their own piece. The teacher was always available to ask questions and even gave out Turkish coffee for us to enjoy while tufting our rugs. The whole experience was very fulfilling and I think everyone was pleasantly surprised at how good the rugs turned out. The class is a great value for the price and I definitely recommend it if you have the chance!

If you’ve ever wanted to feel like an artist and a mad scientist at the same time, take Keith’s tufting workshop. He somehow makes power tools, yarn, and pure chaos feel like meditation. The space was relaxed but alive, filled with color and laughter, and Keith’s teaching style struck that perfect balance between hands-on guidance and creative freedom. He walked us through everything from using the tufting gun, trimming, and backing—patiently, clearly, and with a genuine enthusiasm that made everyone feel capable, even those of us whose rugs started as abstract blobs and ended as masterpieces (or at least, very charming). By the end of the day, I left with a tufted rug I actually love, a new appreciation for texture, and the rare satisfaction of having created something with my own hands. Keith has that gift of making the technical feel magical. Five stars, obviously.

LOVED THIS EXPERIENCE!!! I normally don’t write reviews, but this was one of my favorite hangout ideas ever. If you’re ever in the local san francisco area and you want the perfect indoor activity - this is the place. I was able to make my dream little rug for my college dorm wall, and I couldn’t be happier! They have such a wide selection of colors for yarn, and the instructor was so incredibly patient. He made sure we all knew what we were doing, and always came by to check on our progress. Including my sister and I, we had around 15 ppl in the class but everyone got the help they need and left on time or even early with a beautiful rug. They were incredibly nice and helped us when we weren’t sure how to proceed - you are sure to go back home with a beautiful piece of home decor!

I recently attended a tufting class with Kadir, and it was a truly memorable and creative experience. From the start, Kadir was welcoming and made the environment feel comfortable for both beginners and those with some experience. His passion for tufting was evident, and he took the time to explain the tools and techniques in detail.

The class was hands-on, allowing everyone to work on their own projects, with Kadir offering personalized guidance throughout. His clear instructions and patient teaching style made it easy to understand the tufting process, from choosing the design and materials to handling the tufting gun and finalizing the piece.

Kadir also provided high-quality materials, and I appreciated his focus on creating something unique. It was so satisfying to leave with a completed piece I’m proud of, and the supportive atmosphere made the whole experience enjoyable.

I highly recommend Kadir’s tufting class to anyone looking to explore a new craft or create a personalized piece of art. I’m already looking forward to my next...
