i dont care for most of the books here. i dislike the layout. there are some russian books. i want to hear real russian not some fake accent on a russian language package. i dislike the feel of this library in general. i dislike the fiction books for females at this library. i checked out victoria boutenka's raw food book here. juicing about 5 bunches of kale per day. i guess i didnt need to keep it overdue. the point is to get some kale and juice it up and chug it. i liked the story about how victoria boutenka her entire family was getting sick on animal meat. animals are not meat. you stupid people. animals are out friends. her whole family got much healthier when they went to raw food. there is also some recipes for food prepared at a certain temp. although i think chinese vehan food is okej because it is cooked rapidly not for like 45 mins or something. just a few minutes and traditional sauce. you're putting cortisol and toxins into your bodies then you cant give up 'meat when you have cancer whatever that is. then you moan and groan about the cancer and can't give up 'meat' because you ''like the taste' you're entirely stupid. read victoria boutenka's book and personal experience with the raw food...
Read moreI love the Richmond Branch library! I think it is one of the best local libraries in the city! It was remodeled within the last decade and so everything feels new, clean, and in good working condition! Adults - It has a good selection of books, magazines, etc. Since the library is located in the Richmond where there is a large Asian community, you'll also find many Chinese books and media. I also like that this place has free wifi and small conference rooms. Children - There is an updated children's library for the babies-teens crowd. They have several story times during the week and the librarian who leads it is animated enough for my toddler! Everyone is always so friendly to families. The library also has a playground so the kiddos and run wild. There is only street parking available which is a bit hard to find during the weekends but the library is conveniently located near...
Read moreA really nice library.
The entire ground floor is dedicated to children's books. There's also a magazine and newspaper room, quiet reading rooms, and a program room. The little park area outside has a structure and swings for kids to play, a bike rack, and a grassy area for dogs or picnics. Speaking of picnics, the 9th avenue side has a grassy hilly area and nearby trash cans. There are also plenty of benches to sit outside and ample seating inside for reading. Another great thing are the electrical outlets embedded in the tables, perfect for charging a phone or laptop. Also, there's a teen room with a good selection of young adult reading materials and computers. It's also wheelchair accessible.
I could go on and on about this library but you get the point. It's a wonderful library. I'm lucky to have such a great library so close to...
