Starr King Open Space — Attraction in San Francisco

The view from here is excellent. There's also a rope swing, one of the few left that hasn't been cut down by the city. This place would be incredible if it weren't for the unfinished massive eyesore right smack dab near the center of the park. It's tragic that construction like this has been allowed in places like this. At least got to see a red tailed hawk and some local wildlife while I was here. Underappreciated part...

If all you want is a place to watch the sunset or walk your dog - this is it! There are no facilities because the whole point of maintaining this area is to return it to a native habitat. I cannot speak to delinquent kids on the open space. I haven't witnessed that. I only know that I've made some really good friends by hanging out there and all...

Nice little public "green" space! Much more green after it rains, but a nice space regardless. There are a few benches and a rope swing, and some different flowers blooming friending on the time of year. The real reason to come is the view, though. It's generally not foggy here, so even when it's foggy in the rest of the city the views here...
