Kansas Food Market — Local services in San Francisco

I notice what some call the "little things" although I see little things more as unique/special. Anyways, I mention this because I noticed when I drove by that yeah, it looks like your typical corner store until you actually walk closer and enter the store it feels like your walking into a rabbit hole or something. The entrance is sort of roundish and narrow I naturally just ducked as I walked in and I'm not tall! The rest of the store feels equally smaller. The ceiling feels a bit lower and the overall inside seems a bit roundish to me. OK, so the point of that long rant is because I like places that are different !! Places that are in any way aesthetically not standard, not the same, not the typical look and feel is what captures my attention and curiosity and for those reasons alone I will continue returning as a customer. Even if it seems so silly to travel a mile to a corner store just because you like the rounded brick entrance etc. when you could instead just go to the one up the block from your house (Yeah, that's me) because I'm all about experiences, and feelings, and having those memorable moments; all that brings positivity and joy to your life!!

So, why the 3 stars? If you're looking for coolers (alcohol) like a cold Smirnoff well, 6 pack Smirnoff Ice is your only choice. no other flavors- no other size- No other similar options. Oh, and that might be the last 6pack left too so I hope your not BBQ that day. Same for beer and wine, pretty limited in the refrigerated section. BTW they don't carry 4lokos or any of the other ones. The hard liquor options are OK, they had all the basic kinds like any other liquor store. Last thing I'll mention is price. While I was inside trying to decide the two men were out front talking to someone and when one walked in I asked him for the price he said $9.99. After some time deciding I went ahead and made that "$9.99" purchase the first guy quoted but it was a different guy who rang me up and I guess he decided he wanted to charge me + $12.99. I’m a fan. They have a ridiculous selection of beverages to choose from and were reliable for go to products during the shelter in place that were missing in grocery stores. It’s great to have a corner mart in the neighborhood and after years if going here they’re always friendly and try to stock what we like. I have been coming to this store almost daily since I moved to the neighborhood. They have a good variety of grocery items and pretty fair price on Newports and blunt wraps and even sell single Backwoods. Oh also their single Swishers are always very soft and not even close to stale, wich if you purchase single Swishers you will know that is rare....
