I live near this park. It's ok, homeless, drifters hang around nearly everyday. I know bc i walk my dog daily through the park. I've been harassed by some a few times (I'm a female). It would be a much more pleasant experience if they were piled up on all the benches every day staring. But it's a public park so whatever. I decided to walk my dog through the park late in the evening tonight, around 10, bc it's too hot during the day. There were thousands, THOUSANDS, of cockraoches running and jumping around my feet. First I noticed one running toward me, then like a bad dream I began to notice them all around start running at once bc i was walking through. I started screaming and running trying to avoid them touching my feet bc i was wearing flip flops. They were HUGE and running at what seems a super speed. I was horrified, it was like a horror movie.. my dog was having a blast running with me in zig zags while I was screaming. I have never ever seen such an infestation in my life. Sick! I'll never...

Other than that it was a very fun and safe park for the 2 and 3 year olds I take care of. We will definitely go here again. Here's the things I really liked: Separate play structure for young kids 4 slides 2 toddler swings, 2 big kid swings Big easy steps for young kids Separate sandy area and small play structure Climbing structure for big kids Bathrooms and drinking fountains Benches and picnic tables Shade trees Large grassy area
