Gas Leak at Pump – No Help from Management & Dishonest Response
I’ve been a loyal customer at this Chevron for years because it’s conveniently located near my job, but after this experience, I will never return.
On August 8 around 7:40 PM, I pulled up to pump #2. I clicked the handle in like I always do, stepped away, and realized gas was leaking all over the ground and my car—none of it went into my tank. I was charged almost $60, and my gas gauge still showed under a quarter tank.
While I understand accidents can happen, you don’t expect a faulty, leaking pump at a major gas station chain like Chevron.
When I called for assistance, the manager Oscar got on the phone and said, “In my five years as manager, this has never happened,” and even suggested the leak may have been my car’s fault. What’s worse? A sales associate on-site told me that pump #1 (the opposite side of the same unit) had already been having issues earlier that day.
So for Oscar to claim a pump has never malfunctioned at his station was not only dismissive—it was an obvious lie.
I didn’t ask for a refund—I simply wanted the gas I paid for to actually be put in my tank. Instead, I spent 30–40 minutes trying to resolve the issue, ended up late to my second job, and had to go elsewhere and pay again, costing me almost double what I normally spend for a single tank.
This situation was unsafe, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Chevron, I need to speak with someone above Oscar, because this experience needs to be...

Read moreOnly went here to use the Bitcoin ATM to sell some bitcoins. Was basicly easy and worked well for getting $100's out but when i tried to get $20's it said there was a problem, took my bitcoins and then went back to the main screen without giving me any info at all. Customer service was very helpful and prompt and even gave me back an extra $5.14. Why that amount, I havent been able to figure out. They told me a tech would be there shortly to fix the problem and that i could try again. I opted not to test my luck. I did however go back a few days later and was able to sell $318 worth of bitcoins for $300 in 3 crispy $100 bills and this time when i tried to get $20's i found that they jad fixed the problem by making the buttons just plain not do anything at all. So you can get any denomination as long as its $100. Oh and the Chevron.... its a gas station with gas and snacks and smokes the same as any...
