Prepboys Mealprep — Attraction in San Jose

I signed up for a 52-week plan with Prepboys for $2,700. It started off fine, but the food quality declined fast — repetitive meals, poor taste, and zero customer service. You only get support via email, and they often don’t respond.

The real issue came when they auto-renewed my plan without consent and charged me nearly $3,000 without notifying me. I only found out through my bank. When I texted the owner, Lance, he didn’t apologize — instead tried to pitch me again. After pushing for a refund, he offered to pay me back in Zelle “in increments”. That's a crazy response its like me taking $3k from you and telling you to wait for your money. It dragged out for days, full of excuses. On my end I had to draft legal documents and even arranged for a sheriff to serve him papers just incase he didn't pay. Eventually he paid me out in Zelle and tacked on some late fees to reimburse me for wasting my time. Sure Lance the owner can argue he paid me back in full plus some but its more about the principal of it and how he does unethical business.

In the beginning I could’ve done a bank chargeback but wanted to give a local business a chance to make things right. I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt. Sure, I could’ve immediately filed a chargeback with my bank, but I didn’t want to take that route. I genuinely support small and local businesses, and I know a chargeback can hit them with extra fees. Despite how poorly I was treated, I still wanted to do the right thing. Huge regret. I am shocked at how amazing this place is. I want to start off by saying that I tried two meal prep services before Prepboys. They were horrible. The macros were amazingly off, the food did not taste fresh like they claimed, and the prices were high for no good reason.

I then found Prepboys and, I'll be honest, I wasn't sure how everything worked. I tried my best to figure it out myself but I didn't understand how to order food. However, one quick email to Naomi and she cleared up all my confusion. After ordering my food, I waited a few days and was greeted by Tom, the delivery guy. He gave me an insulated bag which I get to keep and he was just an overall nice guy. Definitely appreciated that.

I cooked a meal right away and the food was amazing! I was skeptical that it would taste rubbery and gross, but man was it delicious. It tasted so fresh. I used to work for a company that specializes in healthy food delivery and have been desperately searching for something similar. Prepboys is that company!

My fiancee, who is notoriously a picky eater likes the food they provide too! She refused to eat anything from the other 2 meal prep companies we ordered from, but now she's stealing my bins. I love her though so it's aight.

Anyway, in short, Prepboys is an amazing meal prep service with dishes that are both delicious and healthy. Let me start off my saying SUPER FLAVORFUL MEALPREPS! Usually when you think of mealpreps you think of plain, boring, repetitive meals, but Prepboys’s mealpreps are super flavorful and doesn’t leave me craving junk food. There are also sauce options so if I ever want EVEN MORE FLAVOR in my mealpreps I have that option. The mealpreps are always at a reasonable price and did I mention, they’re always doing giveaway raffles on their Instagram? There’s always tons of promos and discounts. I highly recommend buying their mealpreps especially if you’re trying to cut weight because they include the macro nutrients on their website AND if you want to eat healthier but don’t have time to cook, you can always modify your order to have more or less food! Unfortunately they don’t do super long distance orders but if you live in the Bay Area they do deliveries for a pretty reasonable price and when my order arrives it’s always in an insulated bag to keep it nice and cold especially on those days where I’m not home to refrigerate it right away. Overall everything about Prepboys Mealpreps always has me coming back every week to order more and may I just add that it’s way cheaper and healthier than dining out or eating fast food everyday.
