United Wholesale Flowers — Attraction in San Jose

I was so disappointed in this shop. They do not deserve even one star!! While they have a wonderful selection of flowers. They have employees who DO NOT listen. I first went into the store in March, my friend and I spoke with Logan and asked if they deliver up North to the Redding California area. We were informed they do. I went back a few months later and signed up for a membership and purchased some flowers, I was helped by Robert. He was so confused and could not answer any of my questions. My reason for signing up was, both of my daughters are getting married and I wanted to have real flowers for the event. I went back on September 3rd and ordered flowers for my daughter's October 1st wedding. I placed the order with Teresa. She was very nice and I gave her the address I needed the flowers delivered to. I once again mention that I needed the flowers delivered up north near the REDDING area. I was told that was not a problem, there was a flower shop in Redding that they delivered to. My flowers were scheduled to be delivered on Tuesday September 27th. On Monday, September 26th, FIVE DAYS BEOFRE THE WEDDING, I received a phone call telling me they could not get the wax flower I had ordered, there was a problem with the farm. Then I received a second phone call telling me they made a mistake and the do not deliver to Redding. WHAT. . . . I clarified with them several times and it was never a problem, now the day before the delivery they call me to tell me they can NOT deliver my order. My daughters wedding was Saturday, October 1st. Now I had to scramble to get the flowers up to the venue. This was a destination wedding and we now had to scramble and call in favors to get items and flowers to the venue. I went to pick up the flowers on Tuesday, first they tried to give me orange colored mums, when I had ordered Linette (champagne colored mums). I ordered spider mums - large white mums, they tried to give me the smallest mums they had. The wax flower they gave me was in such bad shape is was dead by Saturday and could not be used for the wedding. They passed off lavender mums as mauve, I took them because I was desperate for flowers. I will NEVER use this place again or recommend them to anyone. Thank goodness for MT. EDEN Floral Company in San Jose, they saved the day! My brother pick up wax flower from them and it was still beautiful for the wedding on Saturday. I was never compensated or given a discount for all the incompetence of the employees. If you have a special event you can not rely on this store to get you...

I will echo the same sentiment as the other reviewer Rene' Vaka'uta did many years ago. They are still the same vague and high headed I read the response from the business, that they want to get foot traffic to store and so don't give out prices over phone. I am sadly going to refute that logic. You are going to loose me....I am not coming to waste my time when you can't even describe the product and price to a POTENTIAL customer. Businesses seek customers not shun them away by ridiculous answers. Your explanation of being competitive in business completely lost me!! If you want to be competitive in business you have to do your research and be confidant that you are offering the best product, price and service to the customer. No one is forcing you to be cheap, but you should be in a position to make a logical statement as to why you do not disclose price or product details. It's not that hard to say ok two dozen specific rose is $xx for non members. Customers can definitely read the reviews and see you can't even match Safeway/Trader Jose price, and they are not wholesale stores. Each one of them beat your price and are happy to field customers' questions. Thats how you attract people to store and...

Stunning services- flowers, supplies, customer service are all amazing! I fell in love with them 10 -11 years ago when I took my first design class there and they have never disappointed me.

AWESOME LOCATION, easy to access from the freeway. The owners, Minnie and Brian are always friendly and Alex and Andrew are well trained to offer us the quality in anything we are looking for.

I encourage people to choose them, you won’t regret it! You can just take a trip or take a design class as I did to allow you some time to get to know them. Fabulous team there, skilled, friendly, and completely dedicated!
