So glad i separated from my group to go see this beauty. Although it was damaged, it was nice to see from the edges of the beach. Because i was staying at the hotel located next to it, i was able to have access to this landmark. For those who aren’t staying at the hotel may struggle a little more to get to this. This building was worth talking a little walk to. I loved how there were openings under the bridge that allowed water to go in and crash, producing this calming swishing noise. If available you must stop by to take a look.

This tiny fortress which barely stands today is exceptional. Although it was nearly turned to gravel during heavy bombardment throughout the British American revolution, there is plenty of original fortress left to see. It is difficult to get to and you must actually park at the hotel parking garage and wander over to where the fortress is. This is a great place to grow and there's nobody in that area cares. While the fortress is closed they are planning to finalize and reopen it within a year

I visited Fortín de San Jerónimo del Boquerón in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and despite the area being closed for renovations, I was still impressed by the fort's historic charm and strategic location. The fort, built in the 16th century, sits atop a hill overlooking the Condado Lagoon and the Caribe Hilton hotel. Although I couldn't explore the interior due to the ongoing repairs, I was able to get a close-up view of the fort's sturdy walls and imposing presence from the entrance gate.

This fort is under privately-funded renovation after sustaining hurricane damage. It is not publically open, as it once was sponsored. We had the fortune of meeting the marine archeologist working with the renovation team, who gave us a personal, animated, and delightful tour. He states he will be there most Fridays, just inquire if open. Renovation donations would be helpful for this small fortress, which is diamond in the rough.
