This abysmal dump was so awful I felt compelled to leave my first Google review in years.
Attracted to this place as it was billed as “kid friendly" and on the marina. The view of the marina was, I'll admit, spectacular- but the view from the bridge is the same and you don't risk contracting a serious disease like you do at sizzler. The view is the 1 star on this review.
Where to start? Well, the buffet for adults is $18 off the rip. The place is. Absolutely. Completely. Unbelievably FILTHY. Wet floors. Dirty utensils. Sticky tables. Filthy "sneeze guards” that haven’t been washed in this decade. And the bathrooms- listen I've spent time in a literal JAIL with a cleaner place to relieve myself. On top of that- there are bugs (both flying and crawling) throughout this hell hole.
The food was what may be described as "summer camp run by sadists with a mission statement to cause the spread of food borne illnesses and a non-zero chance at death." Food left for hours (days?) under the lamps so that everything that didn't look like diarrhea covered in vomit simply looked like various kinds of roadkill jerky. Anything that was in a mostly liquid state of matter had a tough skin over it from the "gravy" to what I believe was supposed to be broccoli cheese soup but bore a concerning resemblance to stadium nacho cheese that had been left on the sidewalk for a week or two. The salad bar items, "desserts" and "hot foods" were all the same temperature- somewhere between room temp and Petri dish incubator. Dear God- the “Mexican station” was such a wretched expression of another nations cuisine, the country of Mexico should file an injunction if not an outright declaration of war against this Sizzler location for what seems almost like an international act of aggression.
I'm frankly shocked that this place is able to operate and hasn't been shut down.
The only bright spot is I think I made a new friend or two- tapeworms.
Save yourself, think of your family, you have so much to live for- don’t go to...
Read moreA Disappointing Dining Experience at Sizzlers
I recently visited Sizzlers with high hopes of enjoying a satisfying meal, but sadly, my experience was far from pleasant. From the lackluster food to the mediocre service, this restaurant left much to be desired.
Let's start with the food. The menu boasted a variety of options, but the quality was severely lacking. The salad bar, which should have been a highlight, was poorly maintained. The lettuce was wilted, the toppings were stale, and the overall freshness was questionable. It seemed as though the ingredients had been sitting out for far too long. The hot food options were equally disappointing. The steaks were overcooked and lacked flavor, while the chicken was dry and unappetizing. The side dishes were bland and unremarkable, failing to complement the main courses.
To make matters worse, the service was abysmal. The staff seemed disinterested and indifferent to the customers' needs. It took an eternity for our orders to be taken, and once they were, the wait for the food was excruciatingly long. The servers rarely checked on us, leaving us feeling neglected and frustrated. Even when we raised our concerns about the food quality, the staff did not seem to care or offer any solutions.
The overall ambiance of the restaurant was outdated and shabby. The tables were worn out, and the seating was uncomfortable. The noise level was excessive, making it difficult to have a conversation without raising our voices. The lack of attention to cleanliness was evident, with dirty dishes left on tables for far too long.
Considering the high prices charged at Sizzlers, I expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, it was a complete waste of money. The subpar food, apathetic service, and lackluster atmosphere make this establishment one that I will not be visiting again.
Save yourself the disappointment and steer clear of Sizzlers. There are plenty of other dining options that offer superior...
Read moreAs many others have done, I decided to go here to relive my Sizzler nostalgia since there are none in my part of the US anymore.
First off there is NO sizzler toast anymore which was a huge disappointment.
The staff and service is excellent here - everyone was very friendly and helpful.
The salad bar was pretty bad unfortunately. You could pick through the items and find some decent food but it was among food items that were just so bad I’m not sure why they bothered.
The broccoli cheddar soup for example was as if all the soup evaporated and just the cheddar was left. There were fried food that just tasted like batter and nothing else.
The fried chicken was decent but you had to pick through to find a fresh piece.
The cold salad bar was pretty good but not replenished frequently.
The sundae bar was ravished by other patrons and everything was mixed together and gross.
The bathroom could definitely use some attention and love.
Overall it’s a super cheap, no frills dining experience. You won’t get sick, but come in with the right expectations and you can have a filling meal at...
