We were at juniors Supermarket in San juan texas and we found some sterile gloves and we were already at register but no price they looked for a price but then a manager named George took item from us that supposedly item is for there workers. They took the item from our hands we got item from store shelves not from behind register or any work area. If any item is out there on shelves its sellable they need to retrain this manager to get any customer in any item fully satisfied. It was a bad thing to do taking items from customers just for their own personal USE.. STICK TO WAL MART OR HEB THEY WOULD NEVER DO ANYTHING LIKE THIS. ESPECIALLY WHEN PEOPLE WANT TO PROTECT THEMSELVES AT THIS TIME AND ITEMS ARE IN SEARCH OF AND NO WHERE TO BE FOUND IF YOU FIND ANY ITEM BUY IT FOR YOUR SAFETY. JUNIORS MANAGER GEORGE AT THIS THOUGHT ABOUT THEMSELVES OR HIMSELF AND NOT THE CUSTOMER....SO THE ITEMS ON TOP SHELVES ARE FOR STORE USE THATS HOW HE MADE IT SEEM.. AND NOT FOR CUSTOMERS JUST FOR STORE USE. THATS CRAZY...WE THE CUSTOMERS ARE THE ONES WHO KEEP BUISNESSES UP AND RUNNING IN BUYING EVERY PRODUCT IN...
Read moreI recently bought a pack of Tex-Mex (Machitos) there. I grilled them that same evening, and when I cut into one of them I noticed the organs were dehydrated. The liver was pasty and green. I recorded the whole thing and took it the Manager On Duty. He blamed the Manufacturer stating, "Do to the pandemic, the company is under staffed and they are hiring people who don't know what they are doing." He told me he would give me store credit, and a 15% discount on selected meat. When I showed up, the Floor Manager refused to honor his word, and even called him on the phone, so I could listen to their conversation. She asked me what I did with the (Machitos) and I told her I disposed of them. She told me to return them to the store. I told her she was lucky nobody got sick from that bad product; otherwise, she would have a lawsuit on their hands. I told her I didn't care about the money, but her customers' health. I mentioned that it would be Crazy for me to go all the way back home to reintroduce rotten food into their establishment. She was unphased! I've Never dealt with such Gross...
Read moreI have shopped at Junior's several times in the past with good experiences. However today 9-24-2021 things changed. I went this morning to get some "sale" chicken breasts and other items. I had to ask a butcher where they were and he directed me to the appropriate cooler. I was amazed to find the chicken looked like it was cut by an axe and packaged with ribs showing (and a wing tip in one package) floating in bloody water. Evidently the idea was to get you to upgrade to a more expensive cut. I don't mind getting frozen chicken when it is on sale but this was just sad!!!!! One cashier so I went to self checkout, nightmare except rep was there to fix a multitude of problems. I will think twice before buying "sale" meat at Juniors again. Cleaned chicken, looked like some kind of scraps (fat, skin, pin feathers and bones). I ended up tossing over 35% of the packages. WILL NOT GO TO JUNIOR'S AGAIN....
