American Smoke Shop — Attraction in San Marcos

This USE to be my favorite smoke shop ABSOLUTELY wonderful people, they still are but some of them need attitude checks, I will no longer be coming to this vape store anymore, I will do the drive to Oceanside outer limits , I bought 2 stun guns and the gentleman that helped me knew the “stun” part wasn’t working, but I took it with me as he said charge it and if it doesn’t work bring it back (not my problem if this isn’t procedure) , I needed the stunners tomorrow so I tried charging it yesterday ( yes I should have tried sooner, but I guess the deaths should have waited too) I was treated like a thief by the manager in the Escondido new location when I brought it in , I searched for the number to the store , guess what it’s not there because it’s new , so I called San Marcos for some advice on what to do as I do need it , that was the whole purpose of buying it , The blonde at San Marcos answered and I am ALWAYS so nice and vice versa , well she pretty much hung up on me after so politely (total sarcasm) told me I could have the one in her car, and rudely hung up, so I called back to let her know that I decided not to do that , she answered the phone with “How can I help you AGAIN” totally snarky , I was polite and told her I was just calling to let you know I wasn’t gonna come and I hung up not going back to the store....

I was recommended to go to American by a friend who used to work at a hookah lounge that I frequented. She recommended this store to me because of the large selection of Hookahs, Sheesha, etc.

Sam and his whole staff are amazing! I purchased a Pharaoh hookah from Sam about two years ago now, and have had no issues with it! I used some of the fun fuzzy looking hookah hoses for the longest time ever, but I had a lot of issues when it came down to trying to clean them. They aren't that easy to clean if you are an avid smoker and like to change your flavors up a lot. His staff was so friendly, and knowledgable in suggesting a different type of hookah hose to me that would last and would be easier for me to clean. I love the hose that I purchased from them, it's lasted me at least six months now. The D-Hose is super great for all of us avid smokers.

On top of the wide variety of products that American offers for Hookahs, they also provide a lot of tobacco, glass pipes, vapes, and now cannabis friendly stuff.

I regard Sam and his staff highly, they have always given me great suggestions and have gone above and beyond to help me find what I am...

Absolutely love this place! This is one of my fave smoke shops, if not my favorite!!! They have decent prices, and I've been to other places that sell the same products and they beat their prices!!! This one nectar collector that I bought here for $10, other places sell it for $15 - $20... So, they're beating those other places by 50 - 100% on the price!!! I go to this Smoke Shop for almost all of my smoke shop needs, except for like the one or two things that they don't carry... Other than that, they're my NUMBER ONE GO-TO place!!! They even have the cheapest cans of butane than ANYWHERE ELSE I've been to!!! I will continue to be a repeat and loyal customer as long as their doors are open!!!!!!! Great customer service, kind employees and a huge variety of products!!! Only reason I didn't give 5 stars, is because they don't allow new account sign ups. If I could give 4 1/2, I would... Please start accepting new sign ups!!!...
