California Patio - San Marcos — Attraction in San Marcos

This is an update to a review that I wrote a few months ago which I gave a 5 star rating due to the great customer service and the nice selection of furniture at the San Marcos store.

The update is a 4 star only because of the quality of the Pacifica dinning table. After my furniture was delivered there were some defects and the San Marcus store customer service was great with trying to making it right. Then when the new furniture was switched out the dinning table was still defected, so they delivered another one and that one was also defected. So the driver picked up the floor sample from the San Marcos store and delivered it. I should have know from all the defects with this table that we would have trouble with it. The floor sample table was delivered on January 12th and to date this table scratches so easily (see photos). We have not even used it that much due to it being covered because of all the rainy weather. I do not recommend buying this table, it is from the Pacifica dinning group, although the chairs are super comfortable. Rosemarie from San Marcos store has given us great customer service. During the chaotic and uncertain times in today's society; let me assure you that excellent customer service, kindness and high quality services can still be found with Rosemarie at California Patio in San Marcos. I went in to the store not knowing what to expect during these uncertain times, however, Rosemarie was so warm & welcoming and provided exceptional customer service all while following the Covid-19 safety protocols. I had a budget in mind, but needed help with finding the right pieces for a small-space patio area! Rosemarie gave me all of my options for items that were in stock that I could take home that day or have delivered within a few days. She not only listened to my needs but helped me pick the perfect items that were under my initial budget with no pressure at all!! I know my purchase will last a long time with the quality of the items selected and I am thrilled to be under budget. I initially went to California Patio just to physically look at fabric samples for some patio chair cushions I had planned on ordering from a vendor up in LA. After meeting with Rosemarie, who was very knowledgeable and explained the differences in fabrics, (she was very kind as well), it didn't take me long to decide to order my cushions from her instead. She also gave me advice on how to make the fabric last longer and how to polish the metal so that it looks new. She mentioned the lead time on new cushions is (8) weeks, (mid-January). Fast forward to 12/12/23, I receive a surprise call from Rosemarie stating the cushions are ready for pickup. It had only been (4) weeks from the day I had placed the order! This means that my family visiting from out of town will be able to enjoy the chairs and patio over the Christmas holidays.
