William Bradley Park — Attraction in San Marcos

Pros: Great Open space for Dogs and working out I lived near by this park for a long time and its great for team sports and outdoor activities. There some shade as more tree have been added and the park has expanded and well kept. There different regions and entrances to the park. There the lower baseball field on Linda Vista There the rancho santa fe entrance to the upper field and football and soccer field. There also another lower part where the indoor soccer field is located.

Con: bathrooms. Not the clean bathroom and only bathroom! They need to upgrade the bathroom situation ASAP

There often weird men or older people park in their cars and sometimes in the field so be careful if you have kids. Its safe and the park is for everyone but dont drink at the park. There less homeless now due to Covid but it used to...

This review is strictly for Baseball fields. There are 4 major fields and few practice fields. The park is huge including a BMX bick tracks, which is spread across lot of areas. ApApart from that, this park features baseball diamonds, a soccer field, a playground, picnic areas, and more. It's a really nice sports park that's bustling in the evenings. There are some good baseball fields and ample space for soccer and football. However, parking can be a bit tight, and the bathrooms are just okay. There are water fountains and place to fill bottle. Overall, the park is well-maintained.

But the baseball, the outfields leave much to be desired, with numerous bumpy patches causing the ball to bounce instead of roll.

clean, bathrooms were recently scrubbed and bleached. Been waayyy too hot in the house so i brought a towel,book and snacks to this nearby park and took a lovely heat break...well tended grounds, had a peaceful, breezy😄 and safe experience. Thinking bout bringing my yoga mat next time...of course- respect social distancing and protect yourselves, masks, this is a public park. I went alone. There were no kids present and i believe not permitted on play structures as of yet,unfortunately... (playground equip.is roped off grr)...All in all, an impressively clean and peaceful spot...no negative issues observed- signing out,...
