Fruitilicious — Restaurant in San Marcos

I've been to this place 5-6 times or so now, and have tried a different variety of their foods along with my family. Their Tortas are TO DIE FOR, we always get them and it just tastes soooo good! We usually tend to get their esquite (basically elote in a cup with mayo, cheese, lime, hot sauce, can add hot cheetos or takis) and it ends up pretty tasty! They also do crepes, Smoothies/milkshakes, ice cream on cones, paletas, aguas frescas, fresh juiced juices, classic Mexican snacks like Mazapán, Lucas, cueritos, etc. The list goes on but everything I get tastes so damn good. Oh and they are very hospitable, it felt so homely with the lovely conversations I had with each lovely lady I meet. English, Spanish, they can speak it and make you feel like a valued customer. I ordered a banana and strawberry milkshake with no sugar and it is just making me feel like I'm in happiness. I definitely love this place and will continue to come...

I wanted to try an esquite (corn in a cup) from a new spot and decided on this place.The girl that attended us was nice and the service was fine but the food itself was disappointing. I purchased two esquites with Hot Cheetos and two ice cream cones one vanilla and one bubble gum. The ice cream tasted really grainy like if they used a powder for the flavoring and it just didn't disintegrate and mix in well. The corn was okay but the hot Cheeto topping was extremely stale. Very friendly and helpful staff, jenga on every table and a giant connect four Gane which the kids love.
