Driving around I saw a long line for Taco John's and Taco Bell. I stopped here at Nachos, where they have take out and also spaced out places to done in. I ordered Garlic Shrimp plate that came with a salad, rice, refried beans and guacamole besides a pan fried jalapeno and your choice of corn or flour tortillas. You also get pico de Gallo, green or red salsa on the side. The food was phenomenal and the personel was friendly and courteous. Staying at the Lakehouse Resort and had a craving for Mexican food. We searched for local Mexican food in San Marcos and found this gem in a local strip mall. We Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to indulge in delicious, flavorful, authentic, homemade Mexican food. The food especially the homemade salsa (behind the counter), flan, horchata, and street tacos were so good. After one visit I’m converted. I’m a fan. My sister told me about Nachos and even though the name is horrible the people are fantastic and the food is top notch. I ordered two enchiladas for $5.60. Yeah, you read that right. They were both great. One chicken one beef. My sister and her friend regularly order tacos here and love them.
