I wanted us to try somewhere new to eat and picked this place.   Inside it looked like a regular restaurant.  It even had an upstairs.  The gentleman who greeted us was nice and after a while we realized, he seemed to be the only waiter, or doing it all but cooking.   They had affordable specials that even included coffee We ordered: Pancake special - Standard staple but tasty

Joe's scramble - mom enjoyed this that she devoured it.

Corn beef hash- Didn't look that appealing but it was delicious.  It would've tasted even better if we had a side of rice.

Breakfast burger - my niece enjoyed this and said it was flavorful.

Steak and eggs - I ordered it medium.  At first it was juicy and flavorful but then dried out.   The onions and mushrooms were a good touch.

Cornflakes french toast - I was s little disappointed, as pretty as it was.   It was missing that crunch from the cornflakes.

Overall, the place wasn't bad.   Maybe it was...

The first time I came into Johnny’s, I was looking to grab a beer and a burger. But they only had a burger. Now they have a beer and wine license. Now they have a solid burger and solid collection of beer on tap (Stella, 805, Lagunitas, pacifico, to name a few), wine (cabernet, merlot, chardonnay) excellent 4.5 out of five rating for the burgers and fries.

The possibilities are impressive TV screens easily can pull up a sports event from 12 to 2:30 PM. Spend an hour or so with your friends. Have a beer. Have a have a burger. Comfortable if you solo, like me. I likely will invite friends next. There is parking on El Camino, in the back, and on side streets. Great low-key, good value, excellent food place to check out! FYI, I sat at the bar area with great service, and the cheese burger and fries were as good as...

This was my second time at Johnny's, and I've heard they have a new chef. If anything the food was even better. I had the chilliquiles - the green sauce is excellent, served with a side of sour cream, guac, and beans, the eggs (over easy) were perfect and the chips soaked the sauce up. The house potatoes were seasoned nicely and good on their own. But the real treat was one of the new crepes - a light chocolate coating on the inside, filled with seasonal fruit, and the crepe itself cooked to have a little crisp on the edges, before a drizzle of caramel. Not too sweet - which I appreciated. Could be breakfast or dessert! All the dishes had lovely presentation - but the prices are more reasonable than a nearby brunch spot. Johnny's vibe is casual & friendly...

Grabbed lunch here for the first time and the overall experience was really good! The waiter was super kind, my boyfriend had ordered some pancakes & we had waited a long time for it and so they gave us a complimentary pancake. I ordered their Florentine Benedict ($15.95) and I did not like it. The egg yolk was not runny 😭 The portion itself was just right, it looked really little when I first got it haha Other dishes we ordered: - Brunch Burger $13.95 - Mario’s steak omelette $18.95 - Penne Pesto $16.95 - Miami Heat Crepe $16.95 - Fruity Nutella Crepe 13.95 - Coffee $3.95
