New to the community, in my childhood it always consisted in going to the neighborhood market with my mom, being black sometimes u get stares being in other cultural food stores , but this store is by far the worst! I get energy from the staff like why am i here? The customer service from the restaurant part is horrible and uncomfortable. I order a pupusa and even tho im a black girl i know what it comes with it why u not giving me the sauce & cabbage? The thing keeping this store slightest chance of positive energy and great service with the people, is the meat market guys they smile they want to help and even answer questions i sometimes have not even involving meat . Read moreGreat mom and pop Mexican grocery store. When I am in the neighborhood, I come for the fresh, ripe tropical fruit (mangos, guava, bananas) and order at their tacqueria in the back. They have a full fresh meat, seafood and cheese counter. Nothing is pre-packaged. They also sell house-made beef jerky and Chicharrón (deep fried pork rinds) by the pound. The staff is really friendly and helpful.
The tacqueria employees will give out samples to help you decide.There is a line during lunch time to place your orders. Portions are big for the price.
