Grease on grease on grease... but it was delicious!

This place used to be an Ihop and like its predecessor, they also serve breakfast/lunch food. They are definitely big on their breakfast menu which I love because i love eating breakfast food at anytime of the day! There were a lot of good things on the menu and I had such a hard time deciding. I finally settled on the Longanisa Sausage which was a sweet Filipino pork sausage and that comes with rice/hash brown and toast. The Longanisa was greasy but delicious. The sausage was sweet and savory and it tasted good with the hashbrown. Their hashbrown is different because they add onions which made it awesome and delicious! I enjoyed my meal but it felt super heavy. The portion size was pretty big too! Their honey dipped fried chicken looked good and their chicken adobo as well. It's interesting that they incorporate Filipino food into the menu because it makes their menu different than other breakfast places :)

Their service was awesome! they were really great with refilling our waters and making sure all the drinks were filled. I enjoyed my meal but the grease was a little much. I would come back again if I was in the area and I wanted a...

I will not come back.

The food is slightly greasy but I went back twice due to the good customer service; however this morning the experience was different. The waitress approached me with a menu, after I said good morning, a mumbled reply was what I’ve got. Minutes later, After asking if they had wifi, the waitress gave me a strange look and replied with a dry No.; alright, maybe not a good day I thought.

After bringing me my coffee, she took my order and asked me if I wanted toast, yes please was my answer, she brought my order and toasts to the table, after tasting and without knowing, I realize they had some butter, so I ask, could you bring me without butter?

Apparently that was too much for her and she replied with a rude tone, ‘okay, next time ask first’; it amazes me how people loose a customer for 50 cents; or more than one customer since the ladies in the table next to me made eye contact with me puzzled as well.

The food is not even close to good enough to endure those comments; not again, of course...

The staff is friendly and funny - Frank was our server & Emmanuel was either a busboy or general backup. They all move quickly and keep a smile on their faces - genuine smiles.

The atmosphere instantly felt like the places in Hawaii that I grew up with- mixed generational families & regulars - a locals place where everyone is welcome.

The food was excellent - good ole standbys are on the menu - but I had to get something different. I got the tocino (sweet cured pork), hash browns (w/ grilled onions & house seasoning) & 2 eggs. It came with a side of vinegar dip that just made my day! (Btw- $8.95 - so it was filling yet very affordable).

Hubby had pancakes & honey dipped chicken - OMG - those pancakes were like Mom used to make, tall, fluffy & light - not sitting like a brick in your stomach at all! The chicken? Crunchy & moist - my search for good fried chicken ends here.

More "local" flavors to try, so yeah,...

I have gone here for years, and the food is always on point. I love that you can get half and half with hashbrowns, rice, and toast. I'm sorry but I'm filipino and I need all my carbs. I love that they get me. This time aroud service was lacking. They were quick to take your order and give you your food but never came back to check on us to provide refills, to go box, or even give you the ticket to pay. It wasn't busy when we got there, not when we were done. They didn't even look at us. They just had us sit there. I waited politely at least a good 15-20 minutes. I got up and had to ask for everything so we can leave

The staff was helpful but the older lady was a bit more on the serious side and very direct to the point of making us feel uncomfortable (she is a bit rude) The food was okay but that is it just ok not impressed. Prices are fair. Place is a bit outdated could us some up keep. I am basing my review on 4 separate visit experiences and combined to one review. If my review was based on my first visit that I came by my self I'd be leaving 5 stars but if it was based on today's visit that was with a party of 5 they'd get 1 star. With that said come on over and create your own experience and write your own review.

I have to raise my stars a little bit as my meal this time was actually pretty good. I ordered the honey chicken and flapjacks. I guess it’s their version of chicken and waffles. The chicken was super moist and was fried with just the right amount of batter. I did like the hint of honey in it. The pancakes were nothing out ordinary, but they were good too. I also tried the adobo, which wasn’t super authentic Filipino food, but it was still pretty good. The chicken was moist and tender and the sauce was good. Overall, the food was decent, the portions were huge and the price is fair.
