SONY at its WORST!
PS4: $400 PS3 (60GB): $600 PS2: $300 PS1: $300 PSP: $250
Above is the initial cost of each system that my family and I have purchased ever since I laid eyes on video games. Being seven years old at the time, I wanted nothing more than to play games with friends and interact in a way I have never seen. You can say I love video games, heck you can say that I even loved Sony. I have never bought another console other than Sony because my mother always said āIf it aināt broken, donāt fix itā. Well as of today, Sony has officially broken me. Throughout my years I have never broken a system, but this year 2015, my PS4ās disc tray was not reading discs. Yes, this is a very common issue with the PS4ās. No, Sony did not fix my console. They were actually very, very, VERY insulting to me. The serial number on my PS4 was easily rubbed off due to the heat accumulating underneath the console. This is almost comical because they modified their model for this to INTENTIONALLY happen! The PS3ās serial number is behind the console, out of the way and protected as it should be. I later find this very valuable piece of information AFTER I had paid $150 to get the company to fix my flawed system. The company REFUSES take any consoles if this tiny, barely adhesive sticker is tampered with, AT ALL. First, the location of this tiny piece of gold is located on the main aread of contact. This in itself is flawed and borderline irresponsible. The company has enough money and time to imbed their beautiful insignia into their products but wont go as far as to PROTECT their customers and imbed the only piece of information that the customer needs on the $400 piece of merchandise that you invest. Sony has been NOTHING but RUDE and disrespectful to me on the phone. What they donāt know is that the only phone call I made to them was worth over $2000, as they lost a very valuable customer. Hell, you can even say they lost dozens of customers because, yes I play online and again, yes I do plan on recruiting every one of my friends to a more honorable company. Who wants to give Microsoft a try? I hear they sell...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been #teamplaystion my entire life.. but the customer service I received today was beyond horrible.. I spent hours trying to get a refund⦠when I called PlayStation customer service number the AUTOMATED VOICE said to call during normal business hours of Monday thru Friday 8am-7pm something of that sortā¦. From 8am to 4pm today (FRIDAY) I called every 30 minutes⦠the and timing was correct on my end however SONY PLAYSTATION FAILED THEIR LOYAL SUPPORTERS TODAY⦠it is extremely to talk to a human being. The automated voice is even worse itās constantly sends you thru the same loop and will not give me a refund finally after hours of talking to a robot it put me in a line of 300 people I was appreciative of that because it was some type of progress. During the wait you have to keep your phone screen on if you leave that page or refresh you will lose your spot so have a charger and turn of your Lock Screen and be prepared to wait atleast 2 hours⦠by the time I made it number 42 I was randomly kicked out of the wait line⦠robots are not the way of the future for this company it seems as though they let go of most humans and replaced them with robots just to make even more money⦠I would recommend that they should be open 25/7 or better yet they should have a soul and bring back humans and let go of the automated systems ⦠all this because I want a refund but I can buy anything with a push of a button š„“šš.. if you look at PlayStation reviews on multiple websites you will see that they have extremely negative reviews and people are tired of the robots.. on that note I will be posting this review on every platform I can find.. I will be heard⦠I am truly discouraged and feel Microsoft may be a better decision...

The game purchased that I suddenly lost access to has a transaction ID and the game's purchase is not in dispute; there is no ban involved; there is some business-side error locking me out of a game that I am meant to have access to which I have paid for. The first ticket was made more than a month ago. Hours spent with chatbots and in queues.
Sony will not resolve, will not provide info about timeframe or otherwise, customer service throughout has been really remarkably bad. Nearly uniquely so. 35 days to date with no info, no resolution. Being able to play this game on multiple consoles with out-of-town family is what largely prompted the purchase of our PS5 - and now I've just got a frustrated family and an overly priced paperweight.
I will not say I won't buy more content from Sony, because as Sony and I both know at this point I'm captive to their console I now own - but I can't imagine I'll be using future generation consoles from them. They've made it clear I'm captive and they couldn't care less about honoring the bare basics of prior purchases made through their platforms.
The PS4 was gifted, the PS5 was the first console we purchased - and I think you guys have blown it with the players and family in this household, such that there...
