Asian Market — Attraction in San Rafael

Theives. I’ve stopped shopping at this market for a while now since I caught them putting my bill and extra $25 a couple of years ago. My husband still shops there on occasion. Today my husband caught them commiting the same thievery with him. The funny thing is that when you go back and discuss it with them they deny it flatly until you go over the math with them item by item. No apologies either. They’re definitely skimming their customers. If you insist on shopping with them I advise you to always check your bill item by item. An Asian Food Market for Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Filipino food ingredients since 80’s (?). You may call them to ask if they have a certain Asian vegetables available there since they carry some obscure fresh vegetables and many different Asian cooking sauces. Last visit, I noticed they still had Huy Fong Sriracha Hot sauce at $8 per a regular size bottle. The new owners who bought in 2020 are nice and hardworking. The Asian snacks and ingredients at this market are unmatched: they always have exactly what I want/need when I come in! The owners are very friendly, and they always greet me with a warm welcome when I come in. Lisa, one of the owners, is always willing to help me find items I need, and she’s always chatting with me at checkout. And Saturdays are my favorite day to come in because they offer goodies for you to purchase like dim sum and steamed buns at checkout.
