Taqueria San Jose — Restaurant in San Rafael

Food is great...I'm addicted to their meat tacos...only 2.50 each...only thing I don't like is too geared to a Latin American audience n a lot of the help can't speak English...it's rude n turns me off....if u don't make a effort to speak English then leave...the food I like...but not the ambiance....parking sucks ...like I said I love the tacos but not all the food is great unless u are from down south....they got some foods made from parts of animals I didn't know they had....if u don't mind all of them starting at u as if u we're in THEIR COUNTRY...then try it out....reminds me of a little town restaurant in Mexico....it's quaint...I'm ambivelent about more than 3 stars being given...just like some of the food n that's all...it reminds me when they stare at you like a cry for help....I don't know...it's an annoying n...

The tacos here are phenomenal. They have great carne asada, al pastor and linguista. There is a self serve chip and salsa bar that has great vegetables, salsa verse and spicy salsa. The food is served quickly, the staff is friendly and there is usually parking. There is a dedicated parking lot behind the place and a public parking...

I keep going back for the unusual choices of meat fillings for the burritos and tacos, including beef head, tongue and tripe, and the fresh squeezed carrot juice. All you can eat chips and salsa.The service is quick and friendly.Turnover at the tables is fast, so there's always a place to sit...
