I've been at this place twice, even though I had a bad experience with food being salty and so little meat the first time I thought well, everyone has a bad day every now and then and deserve another chance. The second time was just the same if not worse. The man which seemed to be either the owner or the manager was really rude, didn't even said hello back, no smile, and as I was ordering, for every little thing that I added which was basic things like sour cream or cilantro, he kept telling me "this is gonna be extra"... So finally my $5.95 burrito per menu price came to cost me $8.70. Even when I told him wow, what a increase, he replied," "well that's how it is, when you add items it will cost you"... Absolutely no people's skills or manners, as if I owed him to be there instead of making people feel welcomed and appreciated to chose this place when we all have so many other options to eat elsewhere. The chicken or the sauce in my burrito also was extremely salty. I ended up throwing it away half way. Horrible place and experience overall. Plz...
Read moreCool little spot, easy to find "once you finally find parking". Line gets a little long during lunch hour which is a good sign. The place could use a bit of "dusting" or mild cleaning here and there. Lots of interesting photos and decorations that are welcoming. And the staff is nice and seems like a cool family owned business. But let's get to what's important, the food. The fully loaded burrito, is called the "super burrito" everywhere else. But here, it's the deluxe super burrito. They are a bit small in my opinion for the price but the ingredients are savory. Had the grilled chicken and tried the steak. Both great. And I like the fact that they have 4 different flavors of tortillas, so it's easy to customize the right burrito for you. But I was disappointed that they didn't have a salsa bar or at least a few kinds of salsas or spicier options. Pico de gallo was bland. But its Marin, can't expect too much authenticity. They claim to have the best burritos in town. But I beg to differ. I've yet to find my favorite Mexican taqueria...
Read moreStaff was not wearing a mask or had their mask pulled down not covering their nose. The cashier pushed her mask down, scratched at her mouth then put the mask back just under her nose and continued handling packaging for customer’s to go orders and taking card payments. On 2 occasions in the past I’ve found hair in my food. Due to prior unsanitary practices I’d stopped buying lunch here. The food is okay and reasonably priced but not worth finding hair in it later or having your food handled by staff refusing to adhere to sanitary practices to protect their customers. I want to support this business...
