Went into store to exchange a switch which was under warranty. We were greeted by a young lady who tried to help us but was unable to because she was new and stated we would have to wait for manger. After waiting 5-10 minutes we asked how long the manager would take and she stated he was in the bathroom. After waiting another 10 minutes or so he comes out and starts to help us. While doing so he starts to scan the item we brought in in which he couldn’t even find the barcode. After scanning the box he looks through the device and asks us if we know where the serial number is. He then looks for it on the device and says since he can’t find on the outside he will have to cut on the device and look for the serial number on the device. The device was dead so he placed on the charger and said we would have to wait longer. While waiting he went to the young lady and explained that he needed the serial number off the device so he could see if there was a warranty on it. Before he came out of the restroom the young lady ale scanned the box and told us she saw that we had a warranty but she was unable to complete the transaction due to lack of training. So when he said this I asked him if the only reason he needed to see the serial number on the device was to match the numbers could he get the other device so he could cut some of the time since we had been waiting for a while now. He went on to state he doesn’t do that do to loss prevention matters and would just need to wait until he checked the serial number before he went any further because we could have put another device in the box and brought it in. I feel as though he did this just because we where of ethnicity and is racist and I don’t feel like he would of treated someone this way of the same race. They recall us when we walk thru the door and actually treat us as (gasp!) Valued Customers! Staff has been candid about game content and it possibly being inappropriate for my child, even tho it cost them a quick sale. But in the long run this has earned my loyalty, and as the one who pays the check, that is what counts. Well when I came in to put rest of money down to pay it off, they only put me down for the standard. After I said three times I wanted the ultimate edition the guy still screwed up and gave me wrong one.
