Cicis Pizza — Restaurant in Sanford

This trip with my family of 9 went from a 5 star to a 2 star. Everything was going well until we asked for 2 dessert pizzas made for the table. They say no we don't do that. They will make any other pizza and bring it to table, Ok, so will you put it on buffet then???... they say sure. We wait about 25 min or so since they got busy and they still haven't came up. My pregnant sister then goes and asks and is told sorry 5-10 more minutes. Ok. Again because they got busy, giving benefit of the doubt. By this time we have been waiting almost an hour for these dessert pizzas that never came up. Went and said something to the manager and he was like there is some out there. I said ok there are 4 pieces and there are 9 of us and we each want one of each piece of apple and Bavarian cream dessert pizzas. Which was not on the buffet. Needless to say kids starting getting restless, so we left. I will think twice where I spend my money from now on. Pizza was great. Customer service was horrible and thats a huge factor when I decide to go somewhere to eat. Wouldve given another start for food because it wasn't bad, but the demeanor of the employees...

If you want to go to this restaurant with your family and you plan to only enter and not eat, you are not welcome. I felt so despised and discriminated against because I decided not to eat because I was not hungry and I wanted to pay for food for my children and grandchildren and the cashier totally denied me entry. In the end I ended up waiting outside and my husband and family inside because I didn't have the courage to deny entry to my family who really love eating at this place. We will not return. I do not recommend it. I am not interested in making any official report, much less in someone being unemployed. This happened on Friday, Sept. 22. 23 around 8:30pm. My children and grandchildren were left inside the restaurant with my husband, my daughter-in-law, son and I were left outside the restaurant because the cashier wanted to charge us for the buffet. We had eaten before arriving and we were not hungry, the children wanted to eat pizza and we left them inside the restaurant with my husband (grandfather). We would have liked to go in and just sit down and share as a family, but they denied...

Numerous red flags as soon as you walk in. Right as we got in line, the cashier hassled us for not buying a soda cup. When I asked for no cup, he the gave me a cup anyways, which had the connotation that I could get soda in it. The buffet was nothing special, because let's be real, this is a CiCi's, not a Ruth's Chris. The cinnamon rolls ran out frequently. The worst part of our visit by far was the treatment we received as paying customers by the waitstaff. While I was enjoying pink lemonade in my "water" cup, a man came up to our table, accusing us of "stealing" pink lemonade. This manager made us pay for the drinks, but honestly, instead of managing our lives, he should have been managing his struggling business. I have a feeling that this place might be closed down by the time I feel like coming back. :/ Just order Papa John's instead.

FYI, the bathroom is subpar on many different levels. I'm sure a health inspector would love to expose this fine establishment for the unhealthy practices. Maybe if I pay extra, I can get a...
