I had been wanting to check this place out since visiting the Fort Myers area and I finally got to check it out. Definitely a middle of the day and the heat is not the best time to go. There’s not a lot of wildlife or anything at that time and there’s really not enough shade
I think this could be really great place to go in the mornings or in the evenings when it’s a little bit cooler outside.
The trails really aren’t that clearly marked and if you take a wrong turn you end up at another little preserve which I don’t regret or anything. I think it was called garden preserve and that one looked really nice. Actually I guess it’s cool that you can go in between them relatively easily . I just wish the map was more clear about that.
