If I knew I could have posted pictures I would have of the green lake that smelled every bit of nasty as it looked also the infestation of webs on the playground jungle gym. Also not to mention the homeless that have taken over living in the bottom shaded areas of the play ground jungle gyms. And living in the bushes waking up angry that kids woke them up from there drunken drugged sleep. Not to mention when was the last time park maintenance actually took a actual look at what going on besides the sports fields. It feels unsafe it smells and needs to be pressure washed . Read moreI believe this park is a duck sanctuary park. There are all kinds of ducks, quite interesting actually. Lots of space for picnics and BBQ. On Sunday you can find a very friendly local Spanish church gathering and several soccer teams playing. Beware of all the bird droppings along the walking trail, I mean literally it's a lot. Not sure if the city ever clean the walking trail and the pond water I'm sure is toxic. Besides that I find this park very tranquil, great for meditation and yoga. Read moreIt's a big park with lots of grass area, but be careful because the grass area can have duck or dog poop. The plus side is it does have walking trails for a nice stroll around the park. Today the stench of the lake was extra bad. I have a cold and don't have a good sense of smell right but I was able to smell the stench of the lake, so I can assume it was bad. Today while walking there was a couple of homeless under a tarp doing not so appropriate things, before we even reached them a security car stopped to approach them and asked them to leave.
