One of the top playgrounds I've ever been to! It's obvious that this play structure was built and designed for kids in every way, with narrow spaces and low ceilings at the perfect height for children running around; and decorative art done by children on many parts of the structure, both out in the open to touch and look at as well as hidden away deep in the play structure for children to discover. There are tons of interactive elements as well, from a marble maze on one wall to musical chimes you can hit with mallets, and all sorts of creative structures great for kids to climb on and show off their balance. All in all this is one of the most ingenious designs for a playground I've ever seen, and it's definitely a perfect fit for any child looking for an exciting new place to play. If you're driving through Santa Barbara and you want to stop at a playground, this should...

The wooden structures are stunning, it’s in a gorgeous larger park & there’s a fence enclosing it which is great except this seems to be a park for teenagers running around and banging into your children, knocking them over, screaming & swearing or having a gnarly fistfight. Teenagers absolutely need somewhere to go & hang out, let off steam and just be teenagers, maybe this park should be for them.

All three times we’ve gone we’ve had to remind various groups of teenagers to be aware of younger kids, and modify their language.

It’s in a nice safe neighbourhood, there’s a corner shop at the end of the block where we got reasonably priced snacks and drinks. There was a cart selling fresh fruit cups and chicarones for every reasonable prices. Maybe take older kids there but younger kids should, in my opinion, go to one of the other nice looking parks...

The park is conveniently located not far from the County Court Garden, making it easy to visit both on foot. There's also another park and a garden right next to it. We usually grab some fast food and relax here.

Our child absolutely loves the wooden castle – it's a unique design we haven't seen in Los Angeles! My son also really enjoyed the 360-degree spinning swing. There are tables within the park where you can eat, and the playground area is enclosed with wooden fences, which gives us peace of mind. We can relax while our child plays without worrying about them running off.

In summary, for families traveling with children who aren't local to Santa Barbara, this is an excellent spot for a mid-trip break. Highly...

Kids World Playground stands out with its charming wooden structures, offering a nostalgic, old-school feel compared to the typical metal designs seen today. The castle-like aesthetic immediately captures your imagination, making it visually enchanting. The playground is expansive, featuring multiple interconnected structures linked by maze-like cubes that invite kids to climb, explore, and hide. With three to four slides providing exciting exits from the play areas, the fun never stops. To top it off, Kids World is perfectly complemented by the peaceful Alice Keck Park Memorial Garden just across the street, making it an ideal outing for families.
