Wide variety of cupcakes. Pick up the punch card so you can get a free cupcake. You get one punch per visit, no matter how many you buy. They have vegan cupcakes and every day there is a special cupcake.

There is an extensive food menu. My daughter likes the tuna melt. The avocado toast is OK. At their Goleta location. They have a vegan burrito which is filling. I would love to see a tofu scramble on their menu.

Have plenty of outdoor seating.

On the board they list coffee drinks with one price but that is for their 10 ounce. Obviously it’s more if you order the larger size. I wish they would have better signage about it. They do have specialty drinks, including turmeric.

Where I debate about giving them a three or four which I gave them a 3.5 rounds up to four. I know they care about inclusivity. They have signs in the window and their sister crush bar is very inclusive. However, no matter how much I talked to them. It doesn’t seem to register that they are discriminating against people who are lactose intolerant. Did you know that more people of color are lactose intolerant? So if the dollar up charge for nondairy milk is excessive and penalizes all of us who are making this choice because of our Health or because of an ethical decision around the dairy industry.

You can go to Bristol Farms and get any coffee drink with nondairy milk with no up charge. More places in Europe are doing this as well. It is not about an extra cost. Build that into your items, which I am sure you do. Switch for Good has done the math. It is not costing somebody an extra dollar. If they feel they really need to up charge just consider a dime. But please be more inclusive, stick to your ethics and values, and don’t penalize those of us who cannot tolerate...

BEST COFFEE, BEST FOOD, BEST PEOPLE of SB, and my opinion, California. I cannot stress this enough. I came here when I was visiting Santa Barbara and it was so good I actually had to drive back from LA to bring my friend here to go again. Not only is the coffee the best coffee that I’ve ever had anywhere, but the baked goods are absolutely fantastic. I cannot stress enough how good the drinks are here considering I love coffee and I’ve gone to a lot of different places but this is by far the best. The cinnamon Honey latte as well as the vanilla haze latte are so good and the the Angeleno is a fantastic iced drink. I also tried their Break of the day burrito and their Soyrizo burrito and the flavors and serving sizes were impressive. But what I want to emphasize more than anything was the actual heart of the Café. All of the people that work there are so friendly, amazing, will absolutely turn your day around and care so much about the work that they’re doing. We were lucky enough to meet the owners son, Zach, who is one of the sweetest most passionate people I’ve ever met. You can tell that Zach cares about this place more than anything else and their heart and soul goes into everything done there. Not to mention Zach making a killer latte, our day was also made in the process. I would honestly drive back to Santa Barbara just to go here again. If you live anywhere near here or are stopping through I urge you to go here over anywhere else; your experience will be worth it in every way. Support a cafe that has an amazing family and people...

The food here is really amazing. Everything I've tried has been a hit. I have not tried any of the sweets but I have tried breakfast and lunch and left very satisfied. The only complaint I have is that I understand they're very busy but the staff will ignore you until they're done with whatever they're doing while standing right in front of you. It's happened every single time I've gone and all I really wish they would do is tell me that they will be with me shortly so I know that I'm not Invisible to them. I think they're overrun and busy and at times can't handle it. An additional issue I've had is that every staff member tells me something different regarding pickups. Sometimes they put it over where the delivery drivers pick up and sometimes they hand it to me over the counter. Ive ordered thru doordash each time but get told differently each time. I have also ordered egg whites and 5 out of six times they haven't read the egg white note and give me regular scrambled eggs. If you order scrambled egg whites online for a side it's $2.75 but if you order eggs on the side in person they will charge you for each egg and ends up being almost $10. Over all, great eats, mid customer service. I will continue to eat here. Just wish a couple issues with customer service consistency could...

Ordered the vegan coconut cloud cake for a birthday for $95 and the cake was clearly either undercooked or had missing ingredients. The cake had the texture of playdough and was inedible. I see in the other reviews that the vegan cakes look normal so it must have been a one off but what was inexcusable was the fact that the owner argued with us on giving us a refund when we went back to the store to show them the inedible cake. The owner was saying that the texture was normal due to the cake being vegan. If that is the case, this company should not be selling vegan cakes! I did eventually get a full refund but when a cake is so clearly badly made, we should be receiving an apology and refund instead of having to argue for it. We ended up getting the Abe’s vegan cake in Whole Foods which was properly baked so again the issue was not due to the cake being vegan lol

I worked with Justin and the team at Crush Cakes for Riley and Tanner’s wedding on April 24 at Villa + Vine in Santa Barbara, and they were amazing to work with! The cake they created was not only delicious, but gorgeously executed with a vintage vibe and delicate pearls throughout. It was truly a showstopper and quickly became the talk of the night during the reception. Guests couldn’t stop admiring it! Justin was so helpful and communicative, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free for my couple. As a wedding planner, I am absolutely looking forward to working with Crush Cakes again in August and highly recommend them to all my SB brides/grooms!
