Presidio Market Liquor & Grill — Restaurant in Santa Barbara

Andrew has helped support the arts by trusting me to shoot a scene for one of my student films in his market during his business hours without meeting me first. Saving me a whole lot of money and time, he continued to accommodate throughout the night.

But, as we spent a few hours on a Saturday night, I feel I can confidently say that Andrew's genuine disposition and well managed store is rare. Perhaps a symptom of a small city, I've never seen customer's face light up so much as he would greet almost all of them on a first name basis.

As for the products, I would say his liquor section is the best part as he carries some of the most sought out whiskey in the world (Pappy Van Winkle) alongside a grand display of other booze, but that's hard to say when the rest of his shop is also so intelligently stocked up. You are bound to find what you are looking for within reason. cough The booze is the best part cough.

Oh, and...it also has some delicious home-made food (vegan and vegetarian options).

I got SB Menu's to deliver me a chicken enchilada with beans and rice and sour cream to me, the plate itself costing 8.74. I. LOVED. EVERY. BITE. The beans have an awesome taste, that being said, I know everyone likes styles of beans different, but to me they were not your standard canned refried beans, they were tasty! And the rice was pretty decent (no one makes it better than my momma, sorry guys ;P ) I will SO order again when I need my lunch :) The price is decent, considering the amount I got, and how bad sometimes the mexican food can be even at super fancy places with higher prices. I just had some Mexican food here, it was the worst. My friend loves the food and I think its just a very unique taste to like. I had beef and I kept tasting fish. Nothing tasted like it should had. not even the rice. my favorite part was the beans. I would have gave it a lower rating but my friend likes it so much i hope its just my one time experience. All you people that love this food must have already had a few beers before tasting it, I have been with a stinky face expression for more than 10 minutes. I know I'm being dramatic but dam man this was bad. Very weird color...
