Aqua Plus Aquarium — Attraction in Santa Clara

What an absolute gem of a store! Visited for the first time today, and I was blown away. Clean and well maintained tanks everywhere. They've only been open a few months and it looks like they've been going for years. Gorgeous corals with an amazing selection. To make my review as transparent as possible, I am a complete newbie/infant to the salt water and coral hobby. I am in the beginning stages of saving and researching for my first tank. So I am still very ignorant to various species and processes. It did not matter! I was treated with respect and welcomed without judgement. The employee who helped me today gave me so much more confidence and excitement about my first tank than I have experienced anywhere else! I will undoubtedly be returning here to buy corals and fish when it is FINALLY time for me to get some. I love this place . Completely marine aquarium. They do have fish tanks of good quality and decors. They provide marine water as well. Fishes are very good. Sold me a torch that died in two days for $250. Thinks it's ok because "I didn't pay full price" when he sold two heads of the same torch for $500. Then claimed I would try to kill the torch on purpose. Owner docks employee's salaries for mistakes, which is also illegal in California. That, or he lied to make me feel bad about it....
