Video Depot — Attraction in Santa Clarita

Gina, Brian and Mr. Lee have always been wonderful to me. Brian is an expert when it comes to helping me pick out the movies he knows I would like. Gina is always friendly and inviting. I met them both when my nephew passed away 9 yrs. Ago and I went to rent a movie to comfort myself. They were both very compassionate and supportive.

I just moved to Georgia 5 mos. I have since talked to them both. They were just calling to see how I was doing. Where else can you find such personable/sincere people like that. Especially nowadays!!!

Video Depot prides itself in a vast variety of CLASSIFIED MOVIES AND Foreign films YOU CAN NOT FIND ANYWHERE ELSE! Films that you can rent when YOU are available, not when channels MIGHT run them so you can stop your plans for the day just to catch them. They will even "special order" a movie for you and call you when it arrives. WHAT GGGREAT SERVICE!!! They have games too. A fabulous children's section and old MUSICALES FOR THE GRAND KIDS.

I really miss my Video Depot Family and stopping in to pick up a great movie. I will be sure to visit them when I visit Santa Clarita again.

I had forgotten how nice it is to see all the new releases AND less recent releases of the past year AND even older films in one place. I had forgotten how nice it is to have all the special features of a DVD or bluray that you don't get when you stream online. I had forgotten how great a video rental store could be compared to Redbox or online streaming services, but discovering this place opened my eyes. As a lover of indie films and lesser known film festival hits that turn up on Netflix only half the time and at Redbox not at all, I have yet to stump Video Depot. Years ago, there used to be video stores everywhere to rent or buy. But now there's very few stores that even exist. Only places like Target, Walmart, Best Buy & Fry's Electronics are the main ones to buy movies or you can go online. I never heard of this place until I used Google Maps. Its Nostalgic to see a place like this in today's world. I walked around for about fifteen minutes just looking at the whole store. I live way out in Simi Valley, so its a long drive for me but it's worth it. Management is friendly both over the phone and in person. I was able to buy some movies with the little money I had.
