ALDI — Local services in Santa Clarita

LOVE Aldi!! 99% of everything is so affordable & quality, whether it's their food/produce OR their fun aisle! Lol. I love getting a few snacky, bfast staple items when I go but I mostly go to check out their fun aisle!

All the fun, amazing & cute home decor, gardening, bags & sometimes their shoes & clothing they have! My last trip there was for coffee creamer, as I forgot it while out running errands....$65 & 45 min later I was walking out with SO many fun, amazing & needed items!! I scored a 2pk of hanging macrame plant holders (clearance $6.49) a mini raised plant stand, thee softest pants & short sleeve, v-neck romper, adorable slip on shoes ($5.99), 2 different acrylic organizers, 2 pks of 3 each of no show socks, some warm fuzzy socks, my creamer & more! Lol

I also ended up talking for a few w/another shopper, she was super nice & eventually came back to me & offered to let me put my things in her cart, as my stack was getting bigger & bigger & I was starting to lose things as I tried to move 😅 remeber, I was only going in for creamer, so not only did I not have a cart, didn't even have a basket! I just love...

They have a few rude employees! I was there for 45 minutes shopping. When I got to the register they made me move to a different line because they were have trouble with the credit card system. Turns out the whole system was down and we were told they could only except cash. So I had him ring up my order and suspended it. The machine next door was out of order. So I got in my car and drove to a bank and got cash paying a 3$ fee. I went back to the store and waited again in line. The cashier that rang me up was in the back somewhere so the had to find him and figure out which order was who's. When they finally figured it out I asked him "can I get the 3$ ATM fee discounted from my order because I had to drive to the bank and get cash out and drive back" His response was "THAT WAS YOUR CHOICE!" In a very rude tone. I am sorry it was not my choice... My choice was to bring my Visa debit that your store advertisers on the door as taking! Not to run around town with my children trying to get cash because of you system problems 😠😠! I WONT BE BACK TO ALDI...

The minute I walked in the store I was immediately discriminated against the cashier “Catherine” she watched me the entire time as I walked around the store, I chose to ignore this and checked out with her being my only option as a cashier anyway. I brought a big ikea bag with me so that it would make the situation of bagging easier. I only got about 15 items so I asked her once I spread the ikea bag out if she could instead throw the groceries in the bag instead of the cart and ignored me twice, I explained to her that I was pregnant and it would make the process easier for me, once she ignored me again I started bagging it myself as she kept throwing it in the cart. As I have two more items to bag she tells me I need to pay because I’m creating a line, then she tells that if I am pregnant I should probably be bagging in the corner anyway.
