I found the manner of Mr. King’s, DO, discussion with my child as inappropriate. His false persona was very uncomfortable with his overuse and emphasis on the word “superb" and his poor 'acting' of a doctor. Mr. King, DO, bragged about his ability of using the word “Butthole” because it was in a medical terminology context. Then he referred to himself as being a possible “Serial Killer”. Not too comforting from a person who is supposed to be earning your trust. If you have questions regarding vaccines do not choose Southwest Care Clinic, like myself, you will be dismissed. I had a question on the manufacture date on the vaccines my son was to be given and they could not answer my question. I felt gaslighted when Mr King said I am probably better off going somewhere else. They made it seem like it was my decision to leave. I simply wanted to know the date when the product was made. They could not give me an answer and their defense quickly showed up. Most products at the grocery store have manufacture dates, why can’t a clinic provide this information and why do they get defensive when questioned? Sounds like a bad product to me. Thank GOD they dismissed me especially after the horrible demonstration of a doctor I mentioned. It was their claim I was the one who was declining services but I had no other choice, they could not provide an answer to my question. They said to me, I’m better off finding another place. I recommend the same for anyone with questions on the medical products administered. Good Riddance Southwest Care Center. One star...
Read moreBrief summary: Another allopathic medical "assembly line" of horror.
I'm 75 years old and have aches & pains like most people my age. For almost 20 years I've had serious lower back pain. Done just about everything I could find out about such as diet, exercise, vitamin supplements, etc. Been to several doctors in town and finally ended up at SW Care in the hopes that I could find some answers to my problems. I now realize when it comes to patients my age that most medical practices simply treat you like you're a hamburger at a fast food restaurant. You know the scene.. you order a hamburger without mayonnaise and yet you still get a hamburger with mayonnaise because the assembly line can't deviate off of what they do day in and day out. You're a "one-off" and they have no skill in handling your request or individual issue, so you get mayonnaise.
Same goes here at SW Care. I'm 75 years old and I have aches & pains like everyone else my age. It's okay. I'm on the assembly line and I'll be dead soon so what's the point?. We'll bill Medicare for your visit. NO WORRIES. Would you like to schedule your next visit while you're here? Have a nice day. Recommend you use this business ONLY for the sole purpose of getting annual medical checkups and get Medicare 'paid for' lab work done.Take your lab work to a doctor you trust and who can help even if they don't take Medicare. You'll be better off in the...
Read moreStaff are nice. Revolving door as to doctors. Spoke to mine 10 days or so ago - she too is leaving but spoke with me by phone and gave me a date and time to come in for more bloodwork. I fasted for 16 hours and showed up on time. Dr. Gomez hadn't put any orders in for me! No notes, no nothing. The receptionist treated me as if I were hallucinating when I told her what Dr. Gomez had instructed me to do. I have notes from my phone call, but I'm sure they'd think I'd been drinking when I "imagined" the whole thing. There was lots of front desk giggling going on while I waited. Quest lab tech finally came and got me and took some blood but was cold as a reptile. I'm looking for someone new, but this being New Mexico and having United Health"Care," I believe I have about as much chance of winning the lottery as I do finding health "care." I'm 72, I'm of no consequence to anyone but my cats. Guess it's time to paddle out in...
