Pho Kim — Restaurant in Santa Fe

We went there for dinner this evening and we had a horrible experience. This is not the first time we've eaten there, but this time it was more disappointing and dysfunctional than ever. Unfortunately, we like the food, but the service is terrible. Actually, we left stressed because it felt like we were in an emergency ward in a hospital. People coming and going and walking between tables.

First, the female server was very unfriendly and rude. The restaurant was packed especially with people waiting at the counter to pick their orders up. She was on the phone the entire time taking orders while she was also serving.

The server cleaned our table without saying hello leaving the table wet. When she threw our menus on the table they stuck to the table.

We has to wait at least another 1/2 hr. or more to order. She was on the phone at the same time we were ordering our meal. Not once did she smile or show any interest in us. When the food arrived several more minutes later, she threw it on the table without napkins or silverware or any garnishes which are supposed to accompany the Pho. We finally saw another server who was from the kitchen that was helping on the front end and asked him for the missing items.

This female server never once smiled or acknowledged us in any way. When we were done with our meal, we had to go up to the counter and wait in line in back of several people to pay. No one thanked us or cared about us as patrons.

It's a real shame that this restaurant doesn't know how to treat people in a friendly and hospitable manner. Because of this, we won't be patronizing this restaurant anymore. I don't know how this restaurant stays...

New owner; extremely delightful and friendly. New customer. Came in for lunch about a week ago. Service is speedy and attentive. Coffee and teas are great except they could water down the concentrate much more. I got Thai tea; yum. I added water from my water glass four times before reaching the proper sweetness and strength. My friend did the same with his iced coffee. The Pho is delicious, my friend ordered the Beef combo Pho. I'm just a bit shocked at the sticker price. Pho used to be affordable. Now it's $18 per bowl plus tax. Almost $20 for soup. I ordered the original Bahn Mi Sandwich. It was good but I don't know what it was, lol. It wasn't what I ordered. It was some red meat looking similar to BBQ pork. The veggies were crisp. I would have liked a lot more. I had a few strips of green bell pepper and carrot strands. No cilantro or cucumber. The bread was excellent. It cost $13.99 for just the sandwich and nothing came with it. Overall review: Customer service 4⭐ Food quality 4⭐ Flavor 4⭐ Cleanliness 5⭐ Atmosphere 3 ⭐ only because it was silent, decor is cute and chic Price 3⭐going out to eat lunch shouldn't cost me $50 plus tip. My family and I went to the restaurant which we have done many times before. We know that their service is slow and they do not tend to you at all but we enjoy the Pho and I have enjoyed in the past the chicken fried rice.

On this occasion the chicken fried rice tasted old, dry and fishy! I asked to have it taken off my ticket because I had only taken 2 small bites and could not bring myself to eat it.The waitress told me that she was unable to take it off because it was a financial loss to the restaurant. She never asked me if I wanted something else, but instead pointed at another family member saying, well this person ate some of it, which by the way did not like either.” I then asked if she could take the plate off my bill, she stated to me that she would only take off half because she would have to pay for the other half. I was in disbelief and told her that was not fair to me or her. She took the plate back and charged me half for the plate.

The food was not only terrible but I had to pay for half the plate and feel guilty for the waitress paying the other half. The service was not good either. They never came by once to ask if we needed anything instead the girl was behind the desk on her phone. I would...
